i had coffee this morning
or was it the coffee had me this morning?

i'm quite confused right now about that thing
about the coffee and the morning.

my cup was filled with empty coffee
perhaps my empty head was filled with coffee

this is an effect of too much coffee
but then again maybe of too little sleep

later i will get to have that second cup
of hopefully unempty coffee

perhaps this time with sugar and cream
just to brush this sleepy little dream
