Summer is almost gone. Although I am not a summer person, I am one of those who won't complain about the weather at all. It's funny how people complain of the cold in winter, then complain all over again come summer. And they complain of allergies and dry leaves in between.
I admit autumn is my favorite. Just last week, mid-August felt like October. I have one more reason to be thankful, among others. With all the changes that come my way right now, I'm just happy to savor that moment, sort of a preview. The truth is, things are getting really rosy for me, blooming, if I may say.
In a few weeks time, I'll be wrapping pashminas around my neck. I love dressing up for this particular season. But come winter, I'll probably just smile when someone complains because really, I am just thankful I am here to experience everything.
I am especially thankful for this summer. This season, I was given another chance to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks.
