So I went to Waterfront. It is beautiful. Full of life! Colourful. You name it, everything is there. It is situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain. Victoria and Alfred Waterfront has become SA's most visited destination.
I got so excited in the van. I couldn't wait to get out and explore the whole area. I was told that it will take a day for me to fully explore Waterfront and I was hoping that the weather would soon clear up so I could do just that but alas! The weather was not on my side, it started to rain just after 2 hours that I got off! The backdrop is simply magnificent. It is set against the sea and mountains - what a view!!
I saw the street entertainers which I think was the one Jadestar mentioned to me. It was really nice and I enjoyed myself. After walking around and a bit of shopping, we decided to take a break at this nice cafe called 'Love, Revenge & Cappucino'! I love the name! And the food, okay - I love to eat and I really do eat for my size. People are quite surprise that for my petite size, I eat like a big person! So yes, the food - especially the desserts are to die for! I had a slice of Devil's Chocolate after a chiabatta sandwich and wow - chocolate is chocolate and it is better than sex! Okay not really but you get what I mean!
After that, it started to drizzle so we took a taxi cab back. We could have walked around more because the place is pretty much covered for the most part but I really love the outdoor and I usually will end up with a headache after a few minutes in the rain so it was best for us to leave anyway. And I was feeling a little frisky... LOL
So that was it for the 2nd day. Actually, after I got back from Waterfront, we took a nap and afterwards when the rain had stopped, we went for a walk in the small village and that was nice too. Sat at Mugg & Bean and chatted till it was time for him to go and we walked back to the guest house.
