Greetings fellow Soulcasters!

How are you all doing? I hope everyone had a great week! Hopefully as great as I had in Cape Town!!

I have missed reading everyone's blog and I did manage to go online for a few minutes to browse through what I have missed but didn't have enough time to comment on any. So now that I am back, I am all out on doing some commenting and of course, blogging!

Well, the first day I left for CT, my parents, first bro and his kids sent me to the airport. No crying whatsoever - I was only gone for a week! Everything went well although some of the officers look pretty intimidating but friendly nonetheless. As I got onto the plane which was from KLIA to Changi Airport, Singapore - I started to feel a little bit excited. All sorts of things start to wander in my mind. Most of all, about MSHM. How it was going to be like when we first meet etc! The flight to Changi Airport was 40mins. It was smooth. When I got off the plane, I texted everyone back home to inform them where I was and I was told my one of my brothers to check out the airport as it is said to be one of the best in the world.

I did and it was alright. I have seen better airports and truth to be told, I really don't see how one judge an airport as 'the best' or whatever. Not a big fan of airports, I must say. So on to the next flight, it was about 3 hrs transit and at around 01:00 on the 20th, I left for CT. By then, my heart was pounding! Not so much about meeting MSHM - lol - more of the fact that it was a 13-hour flight and the longest I have been on a plane!! Didn't know what to expect and I tell you, when turbulance hit - I think of the worst!! It wasn't so bad, actually. I sat next to a man from CT and he told me, he hasn't been home for 4 months because he has just been posted in New Zealand and he missed his family like crazy. Yup, I can imagine!

So I tried to sleep. On and off. At around 06:00, I looked outside and I could see stars. Big ones, small ones... it was amazing. To see the sunrise - that was even more amazing. I seriously could stare forever but my neck kinda ached after a while plus I keep bumping my forehead into the window now and then. So I was to reach CT Airport at 07:35 but arrived much earlier! Imagine my excitement!! I was giggling like a small kid with a lollypop the size of my face! Or someone with sugar rush or high on caffeine. You catch my drift.

Because of early arrival, I had to wait for the driver so I walked around the airport. Then I remembered that it would be much cheaper to get a South African cell number rather than to use my own network provider. I went to a counter and asked for a number. Guess how much it cost for a number? 50 cents!! Is that cheap or IS THAT CHEAP???

The driver, Mr Brahm came to get me and we talked all the way to the guest house. He told me so many wonderful things about CT which I later came to find out a lot of truth in it. We passed Table Mountain, it is just so gorgeous! It was sort of something that you see on movies, just that it was even better to see something like that for real! The fog circling it - just perfect.

MSHM wanted to pick me up from the airport but I told him I'd rather see him at the guest house later on as I felt it was better for me to get there, freshen up and then meet him. But that man, I tell you - was just as excited but I still feel the need to freshen up and look good before he sees me! - just had to see me there and then so he told me, he was just 5mins away from the guest house. I panicked. How the hell was I suppose to greet him? Hug him? Kiss him?? Should I even see him now or just tell him to come later? Because I was thinking to myself, hey might as well let him see me as I was and if he doesn't like what was in front of him, he can leave. Really. So I just told him, sure come along and meet me there.

As I got out of the van, I was busy talking to Mr Brahm and then, I froze. I heard this familiar voice behind me. My heart pounded. So fucking fast, it was unbelievable! I didn't know my heart could beat THAT fast! I was scared it would give away! Well, I turned around and there he was - looking tall (he is!) and so yummy - I smiled and guess what? A hand shot out (yes, MY hand) and shooked his!!!! OH GEE WHIZZ!!!! WTF was that?? You greeted him (two people who have known each other for almost a year and so comfortable with - to top it off!) with a handshake?? Wow - I felt so stupid. I mean, it was a handshake - what's the big deal, right? But it just... felt stupid. The look on his face - lol - can't forget that. He had a sheepish smile and he just pulled and hugged me. That was good. *smile*

Woops! It's 19:30pm now. My mother has planned a family dinner in honour of my return. I didn't realise the time and I really should get ready! Will continue soon...
