Never much thought about it, but if I must I would choose the king of spades for whatever reason comes to anyone's mind. I understand that in some instances each card holds a particular significance (other that its value during gameplay). I have never troubled myself to learn however.

Infernal..... my favorite game used to be canasta, a circumvolute, extenuating, intriguing game, that must be played in silence and can last even hours....Canasta is a game born in exotic Urugay and means "basket".
So my favorite card can only be the Pinella (the Wild card), the black Two of Hearts in particular.
Dangerous and elusive, the Pinella is the most sought card of all.
When you have you a Pinella you can rule the game and freeze your opponents moves and steal the well.......what not to like?....lol.....
Sudden...i used to play endless games when i was a teen ager...odd, uh? ...lol..
Yet, i loved it ...we were a group of 4 girls simply obsessed with this game...
When we "graduated" we even got the permission to play with the famous Canasta Ladies..a ferocious, highly competive group of ladies (my mom's friends) that were known to play for hours under the beach umbrella or in the fresh shade of the Sailing Club's main room.... :-)
There is something hypnotic in that game, dont you think?
Mamie.....hey.....you, Sudden and i can play together then.....we need a forth player though....
I can bring the iced tea....:-)
In the game of hearts the Queen of Spades is often refered to as...as...as..the Bitch.
Madame Z. Are you attempting to tell us something?
[backs away slowly, protecting head with forearms]
I must say that in the few months that I have known you...
[ducks behind support pillar in center of room]
that I have found you most agreeable.
[darts for the door]
Whew!
Most of the time.
[runs headlong down the hallway]
rww
[gallops away, cloak flaring out behind]
And once again the King of Spades has escaped the wrath of...
[cresendo >>>grande fortisimo...horns blare triumphant fanfare...followed by the thunderous beating of the timpani...decrecendo poco a poco...diminuentdo]
the impetuois Queen of Spades!
[spots fade, stage liights dim]
Cheers from the crowd, Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah for the King! Hurrah!
Stage lights down, house lights up]
King of Spades, because:
1. i am a man, and kings are always men.
2. if you knew me personally, you'd know that I belong in royalty....
3. spades is the strongest suit......I am strong, with a manly body
5. More manly than any other person..... in the world.....*buffs out chest*
6. kings are aka 'thirteen' if it was only numbers, and thirteen is the best number alive...... i deserve the best....... you see how tat fits?? UH! UH!
7. zzzzzzzz........
8. **wakes up** **yawns** **stretches** **clears throat**
9. I didn't want to be a sissy and choose 'hearts' ... or 'diamonds' ......
10. plus clubs is is the weakest suits....
11. I AM NOT WEEAKK....!!!
12. dont know what else to say....i want to even it out though.....(the numbers)
113. *clears throat again*
14. .........!!!.........um........!!!............
15 there! EEVENed out.........????!!!!?!?!?!?!
*clears throat yet again*
'It's clear already!'
i loooked at her strangeley
SHE SIGHED
'your t-h-r-o-a-t is c-l-e-a-r!!!'
'oh.....thanks for letting my know,....'
*winks*
Pause
silencio
no one speaks
*clears throat*
Infernal: Feel free to delete this and the first of the redundant entries above. In fact, please do! I don't know how that happened.

The Major Arcana cards are recognizable as individual models or archetypes, such as The Fool, The Magician, or The Devil. These cards seem to represent the different stages in life we all experience in our own unique ways. The Minor Arcana cards are divided into four suits much like modern playing cards. However, the suits have different names - the Cups, the Wands, the Swords, and the Pentacles. One other difference is that each suit has an extra court card - the Page.
Each of the four elements of the Earth is commonly assigned to the four suits of the Minor Arcana:
Wands represent the element of fire. They stand for action, creativity, and growth. Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are the astrological signs assigned to the suit of Wands and the element of fire.
Cups represent the element of water. They stand for feelings, spiritual experiences, and the unconscious. Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are the astrological signs assigned to the Cups and water.
Swords represent the element of air. They stand for the mind, knowledge, and the intellect. Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini are the astrological signs assigned to the Swords and the element of air.
Pentacles represent the element of earth. They stand for the body, physical experiences, and practical skills. Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo are the astrological signs assigned to the Pentacles and the element of earth.
The Minor Arcana cards are in no way inferior to the Major Arcana cards, but rather add detail to the Major Arcana. The Major Arcana give information and guidance to an individual’s psychological state of mind and inner life. The Minor Arcana gives details of relationships, creative ventures, and adversities and successes. The Major cards are thought to be more spiritual, and the Minor cards are seen as more earthly, with the Court cards acting as a bridge between them.
