Daily went down to her basement to do some cleaning, and there, she found, hidden, and woefully undernourished in a corner... Little Box's daughter! Yes, folks, that's right! If you were wondering what really happened between LB and that ole Lobstah', they did.... and it had consequences. I don't know why LB didn't tell anyone about it. Probably too embarrassed over the negative publicity that she got from the Lobstah incident.
Well, Daily has been taking good care of LB Jr. and gotten her fattened up, and she says that she's ready to fill her mother's footsteps and wants to take up her mother's round-the-world voyage where she left off. Since mom was next on the list, Daily will soon be sending LB Jr. off to mom, after filling her with something special, of course.
For those of you who came in a bit late on this story, you can read all about the original exploits of the Little Box here. Rumor has it that LB Jr. is going to leave the US soon and continue westward on her trip as her mother did before her.
Because we want to be absolutely sure that LB Jr. stays safe on her trip and gets to complete at least one whirl around the earth before going to meet her mother in the great unknown, we would like to restate the "rules" for everyone who would like to participate in the saga of LB. Here they are from the original post:
1) The holder of the Little Box (currently Daily) would find a small gift that will fit inside LB Jr. The gift can be something that is representative of the place where the holder is living, the place where the holder is from, or of the holder him or herself. Preferably, it should be something lightweight to keep postage costs reasonable.
2) The holder would post an invitation, both on the original Little Box Post and on their own blog (linking the two) to a soulcaster that they would like to send their gift to.
3) If the chosen recipient agrees, the two would make arrangements to secretly share contact information.
4) By agreeing to be a recipient of “The Little Box,” you are agreeing that you will:
a) Post a photo of the Little Box (without showing the mailing addresses or real names) and its contents both on the original post and on your own blog, linking the two. This way, people can follow the voyage of the Little Box here as if reading a novel, and new interest can be generated by the new posts, so that new soulcasters will become aware of its existence, too.
b) Send the Little Box on its way **WITHIN TWO WEEKS** by following steps 1-3 above.
The two week stipulation is new for LB Jr., because we don't want her to get held up like her mother was. Also, please note, that when Little Box was making her rounds, people didn't always remember to post their photos and invitations on the original post, and that would make it hard for people who want to get up to speed by reading the entire history in one place. Also, please don't take your photos down off of flickr, because they will disappear here as well. So, if you agree to host LB Jr. on her journey, please agree to follow the rules of the game, and please follow through. Everyone at soulcast is counting on you!Well, that's it. Everything else is up to Daily and mom, and anyone else who wants to get in on the act. Personally, I'd like to see LB Jr. go around the world a bunch of times.
Godspeed, LB Jr!
