I don't know who else has noticed this. But while most everyone is busy checking the Featured Page ("Has mine reached the top of the charts yet?"), or commenting on each other's blogs ("Oh, goody! Five new comments!"), or checking out who's the latest casualty ("Evil_Twin? Incredible!")... Soulcast springs another surprise on us.
Guess what?
Finally, a top-of-the-line Google-powered search facility.
SC's earlier in-house search facility was, to put it kindly, anemic and astigmatic. An embarrassment to any self-respecting online database programmer. (Sorry 'bout that, guys, didn't know a better way to put it nicely...:-)
Now, SC's search box -- top right and bottom right of the sc page, dolts -- has become at par with the standard Google Internet-wide search facility. I tested for an exact-phrase search string. Try "desert moon" enclosed in double-quote marks. It works. I tested for an and/or search string. I used indigenous+pigs, if you're curious to know. It works beautifully. With the returns ranked and displayed as we expect a Google search result to behave.
Thank you, Soulcast. Don't stop amazing us, y'hear? I knew there was another reason why I continue to stick around and ogle your growing baby, guys... :-)
