The last of the pre-Beatle years.  Though the Beatles were already having number one hits in England this year, they were unknown in America until after Christmas.  1963 had a lot of girl groups (Shirelles, Ronettes, Crystals, Angels, Martha and Vandellas, Patti LaBelle and Blue Belles) and a few emerging folk acts (PP&M, Dylan).  I liked a lot of songs that year.

i also like angel baby a lot.  one of my favorite parts is during the instrumental break when the drummer sounds like he fell asleep for a moment.

never thought of it like that.....but that part reminds me of the old dance marathons at the end where they are trying to hold each other up....whatever happen to those things....great birth control by the end of the marathon you ever wanted to be near tha person again!
