  lol. so you can just imagine my son migz, who loves cats, pampers them, smooches them... and one morning, he found the fresh half-eaten remains of a mouse in one corner of the study room -- while his favorite cat was on his lap licking its paws. migz rushed to the bathroom and threw up everything he ate that morning... :-)

  It must be because it rained like crazy last month but i have never seen so many of them around here so during one of our night's walk my dog, out of the blue, sprinted forward and landed on one of them. He gave it a quick sniff and before i could pulled him away he opened his mouth and started to....... lick that thing.....and he seemed to like it too........bleah!...

  Now anytime we walk around he is hunting for them. They popped out from anywhere and he believes its a game. You know..... Lick the Frog ....lol..

  Dogs have an antseptic mouth or saliva. If I had that going for me I would be sniffing butts and eating bugs too.

  Wasn't this conversation about dogs? I sometimes buy eggs from farmers here who have range chickens, they eat lots of hoppers in the summer and it makes the yokes bright orange.
   
  I'm trying to get back to dogs, hey they're dogs. They eat bugs, roll in shit and lick frogs. That's what dogs do.
   
  Ok, I have an idea, the next big bug you and Oliver see together, you beat him to it SL, get down on all fours (oh that's making me horny) and eat that bug before he can get too it. Make all sorts of yucky faces while eating it.

  secret- Mine do that. Yummy. One likes to find dead birds (or live) and walk around with them in her mouth for awhile before munching down. Lizards are a favorite. Bugs seem to be great appetizers.
  
  By the way, you can get toasted tarantulas and scorpions. Chocolate covered grasshoppers and ants. Big fat grubs still wiggling. If you leave now, perhaps you can find a three course dinner for the family tonight.

  Bottie....i am training him to kiss the frogs for me. One of these days that slimey thing will pop in front of me magically transformed in the man i am waiting for....lol....

  lol... secret, you remind me of Lucy from the Peanuts gang... "Ewwww, dog germs!"  Haha.... hey, when I was in Thailand, I was served grasshoppers, silkworms, ants and any insect that happened to be flying around in mass quantities that day.

  The dogs here on the farm will eat some pretty gross things.  I've seen them munching on cow pies.  No way will they be getting close to giving me a kiss. I don't care how much they bat those pretty soulful eyes at me.  :-)

  ginger:  frogs...we have them here too...really they are toads.  but when we get alot of rain (like texas has gotten this season too!) we have them.  so far i haven't seen the dog try to eat one of those....just what i needs...a little frog-licker!

  i was just telling skald that oliver is chasing bees....and i think he just got stung in the snout!  he is so DUMB!
