To hear it on the news, most of Luzon, especially Manila will be facing a drought this year because of lack of rain. It seems the main water reservoir is already meters below normal level. Which means water shortage, people.. I hate it when I can't take a bath because there's no water!! Aaaaaarggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!

 

So hey, barely a week after the announcement of calamity, the expected Typhoon comes along in the person of Chedeng. Although, we are told, it will take more than one typhoon to pass over us before water levels get back to normal. We are still in drought.

 

Except that most of Metro Manila is already feet deep in water... which of our brilliant forefathers had the genius idea of building a capital city in a swamp?!?

 

Nice wet drought we're having nowadays.
