I seldom, no never, ask a question like this, but thought I would tonight. When you are on SC and planning to be here awhile, what do you have as a background? Music? TV? Silence? I usually begin with silence, so I can concentrate and catch up. Eventually, I like to turn on some music--the local best 70's hits on the radio. I like the fan blowing on me and the window open. I hate it when the phone rings. The other night I answered and it was one of "those calls." The man said some lame thing like, "Good evening. I will only take a moment of your time." I told him I wasn't home and hung up!
I stop and go take a break, but then all of a sudden I can't wait to see if so-in-so has responded. So, I am back in my chair and clicking around--frustrated as always with the slowness of my computer and the little problems I have with commenting. You should know I really appreciate you and am commited to pleasing you when I fight with my mouse to answer.
So, what do you have in the background when you spend quality time on here? What bugs you the most when you are busy trying to concentrate on what you need or want to do?
