Second Born links her arm with Third Born's saying "Let's be like best friends."
Third born smiles as she cants her head to the side in a classic 'aren't you silly' expression and replies "We have ALWAYS been best friends."
To which Second Born said "Good point."
Youngest grinned as she caught up and tucked her hand in mine. The matter of fact (to them) event made my eyes misty. Sometimes it seems as if I bash my head against a wall that will never give way. Then they do something so perfectly sweet as if it were as natural as breathing air.
Hope is renewed.

LG....My three daughters, now all adults, were all visiting with me in the last few days. Its amazing, they are all best friends while still maintaining their various rivalries in a very jovial manner. They ge to be more and more fun as they get older. Damn I m a lucky man and you are a lucky lady. -
