I just noticed that today (July 16th) marks my own one-year anniversary on SC. It was really another two days before some of the bigger voices found me (Ed, TNP, etc.), but I was here and poking around.
It amused me to read some of the early comments to my blog as opposed to more recent ones. I and those I'm proud to count as friends have relaxed/grown warmer around each other, and it sometimes strikes me as silly that I know so many random details about people I've never "really" met.
But I have met you. I know you, some of you pretty darn well. A few of you routinely post things that make me nod and think, "You could have pulled that out of my head," though I'll admit that I think my mind would probably send some people into spontaneous rocking and hiding. :-D
I've cried along with some and have had the blessed occasion to rejoice with many as well. For that, I thank you. By the same token: for crying with me, for rejoicing with me, for shaking your head in amusement at silly Infernal - I thank you.
While I'm not a pillar of SC and not many would notice if I ever drifted away, I've no plans to quit blogging, and I hope that I've added something positive here for someone at one point or another.

Well, Happy One Year Anniversary on SC, Infernal. I don't know where the year went. My one year mark here was yesterday. How the time flies.
And dear, don't sell yourself short. I think there are quite a few of us who would really notice if you drifted away. -

Zayda: Happy belated SC anniversary! :) Tempus fugit, but as long as the years stay as generally good as this past one was, I won't complain too much. :)
Mirror: Cheers! I wouldn't have thought I'd find a site that actually challenged how much time I spent on the mom board! I love discovering new things about people, and SC is a great place for that.

It seems that many of us jumped on board right around this time... My year anniversary's coming soon, too. Happy year one! From what I can discern by the comments of others, it appears that you are a pillar in the community.
