This is my 12 year old calico. I found her trying to cross a busy street when she was little more than 4 or 5 weeks old. I scooped her up and took her home. When I took her to vet to see if she was in good health they asked me what her name was. I hadn't thought of one yet. So I said, Just put Kitty there and I'll change it later. Well, the name stuck and so....meet Kitty.

I love this picture because it looks like she could be dancing on a hardwood floor lol. Most calico's skin under their patchy fur is spotted. Kitty is completely pink under all that long hair.

She was only two or three years old when I took this picture. She was extremely playful but has mellowed out as she's gotten older - plus she's pretty much a momma to all the other cats.

A few years ago I found these two kitten near my house and took them in. The one with the gray face is Cream and the one with the little bit of orange is Peaches. I couldn't keep them because I wasn't allow to have pets where I was living so I had take her to the vet. Luckily they belonged to an organization that finds homes for displaced pets. They got to stay together and went to a good home.

I took this picture in or around 1997. From left to right, Kitty, Colleen, Patrice, and Tigger. Only Kitty and Patrice are still at home. Colleen, a beautiful tabby, disappeared from my sister's home. She was probably stolen. Tigger was unhappy in a multiple cat home so she went to live with a friend of my mother's.
I have to dig out some pics of my other tabby, Willow and his sister Buffy.
