last night i did the full version of my yoga session which lasted for approximately an hour and a half on the mat. i havent done that for quite sometime cuz i have been worrying too much on my career and where its leading me, with krissy constantly on the prowl. in those worrying times i usually just lifted some weights, and did some cardio work after. if you ask me yoga is more demanding in concentration than if you are just lifting weights or running on the treadmill. and theres one more reason why i elected to go home early and just do yoga instead--to meet my new roommates. as i have previously mentioned in my other blog entries, (or, have i?) i have, for the past five years, been living with my cousins; sharing with the payment of the utilities. my dad sortof put me in their watchful eye when i first started working in the metro. five years have gone, and yet i havent made any move to move out--maybe because i found it convenient, not paying rent anymore and just sharing with the utilities; plus i get to chat with em once in a while making me feel that people care whatever i do with my life. of course they dont know half of it. dee remains a secret to them. my sister met him already but on the pretense that we are very close friends only (makes a mental note to write about that soon). so as i said i went home early to meet my new roomies. they are my nephews, starting out in their early careers. suddenly the room i once had all for myself looks cramped, with so many pieces of clothes strewn about. talk about being in a warzone! hehehe. but nonetheless i went out of my way to have a friendly chat and introduction with em, because the previous two nights i saw them, i saw them asleep. going out for work in the mornings, they are still asleep, so i figured i'd set aside one night to go home early and formally welcome em. that i did while doing my warrior and reverse triangle poses, or doing a backbend. hehehe. joke. i went through my asanas only after we have been formally introduced and after i've helped them out with their narrative reports required of them by their job training. the two seem to be nice, courteous kids who didnt mind seeing me in various poses as they typed their finished reports, courtesy of the very cute uncle. hehehe. so there. i still am feeling some muscle tingles from last night's session as i am typing this now. i have a dinner schedule with dee and some close friends after work (we're not really big potter fans, so harry can wait til the weekend), so i'd probably just have another round of yoga tonight. i go byebye for now. : ) ciao.
