Things happen. Someone says something, someone else doesn't say anything at the time, only to slam that person in their blog latter. And it so didn't need to happen. Not anymore, now that SoulCast has given us private messaging (PM).

 

Really, the only time PM doesn't work is if that person's blocked you. So before a problem gets out of hand to where that happens, why not try sending someone a PM first?
