Music and movies, what is your critera? For me I have to see at least 4-5 good videos or hear 5 good songs on the radio. I should have kept to my critera when buying Kelly Clarkson's new cd. Maybe 3 good songs tops. What is it with these Idols are they 1 trick show Ponies? She besides Chris Daughrety,(Whose whole album rocks by the way) and he didn't even win are probably the most successful of the idols. I brought her album b/c I thought she had grown as an artist and her sophmore album was so good that I thougt this one would be as good or more.
WRONG! I'm going back to my critera b/c albums are just too expensive and I don't have money to waste on 14songs(that will sit and collect dust on my shelf) when I could just down load the "1" I like off of someones album. Artists want our money but they have to realize that you have to EARN it to get it.
From this album I could see why Clive is upset with her. She should take his input as he has seen the rise and fall of many artist and can only guide her to success as he has many others. This man is not down for the count yet and when Arista shoved him aside I thought this: What fools they are!
Any way I hope Daughrety's Sophmore is as good as his 1st(Record of the year,Multiplatinum). This what happens when Idol lets REAL artist on instead of kariokee singers. Chris could obviously write and had the vocal talent to back it up. I might buy his next album on blind faith,but Kelly I will wait till the record shop puts her in their computer so that I can listen before I buy again. No more blind faith. So how do you do it.
