i think moving, getting married and having kids are the top 3 most difficult but (usually) the most rewarding things in the world!!!!!!
i just moved into a nicer apartment the wkend past, it was such short notice and we had no hands to help us out. it was just me and B - hawling shit in the rain - i still worked on saturday, then from 2 in the afternoon till 9pm we were moving, in the goddamn rain!!!! i got creative and used refuse bags and cello tape to cover the oven, the fridge the cuboards - what a damn mission. i got the flu somewhere between carrying the base of the bed upstairs and helping B lift the oven off the car - goddamn!!!! lets just say moving heavy shit is not meant for females (well this female) - and B is the worst person to move things with - he would be like ' move it this way ' - WHAT WAY??? he would say things so bleak and out there and he would expect me to just know what he's talking about! i slammed my thumb in the car - then the hysteria started and i cried like a little baby - then the base of the bed was getting too heavy for me and i just gave in - i dropped it and didnt expect it to smack me back in the face, have a nice carpet burn behind my ear. not sure how that happened exactly... but i ended up sniffing and wailing while carrying heavy things up the goddamn stairs - make up running off, hair all fuzzy - face all blochy. lets just say i looked how i felt!
then we ordered large pizza's and ate like wild animals! im just so glad the worst is over. i didnt realise how hectic it was to move - the packing, the cleaning the arguments - phew... now i think that - getting married and having kids are things people hardly mention how hard it really is. no one really tells you all the difficulties of marriage, pregnancy, the birth - all the damn stages (which apparently never ends with having kids bcos no matter how old your kids get you still worry about them)
right, now who has the worst moving story here in SC???
