short version: MIT researchers think they’ve found a way to reverse some of the damage to the brain caused by fragile x chromosome syndrome, with the upshot being that some forms of autism and other forms of brain damage might have a treatment—this method repairs the damage. long version here.
commentary: i know that there are a few soulcasters who are affected quite directly by autism and i knew i had to blog this.

Funny my niece who lives in Australia and is a bog friend of mine as well linked the same article this morning. Her cousin, my nephew has autism, and we were saying there is hope. -

OH MY GOD!!!! I can only hope that what they're on toowill work for humans and that it will not take long for even though my youngest has a mild form she will always have issues which will make her life harder. -

Hi, I saw this too, (BBC I think) and it is a good sign that things are getting answered on this level. However the Institute for Human Potential, somewhere in Philidelphia has been helping with brain problems since the late 1940's by various patterned exercises. This patterning was institutionalized in Israel in the 1970's, I don't know what happend to it for most people are clueless about this now. But a neighbor of mine had a baby that fell from a height and the doctors told her to institutionalize him, and I referred her to the branch of the Institute in the neighboring city of Beer Sheva and in a year, after the child was treated in a nursery school setting, he was of normal IQ. They were on the net, hopefully still are, they published the series Teach your baby to read, Teach your baby math, etc and other books explaining how the brain is affected by movement (I have a book by a nun who was able to help children by re-patterning their handwriting--same principal) Q written by doctors on different levels for professionals and non professional. The Institute branch in South America dealt with autism and someone in Mexico got results with Downs Syndrome also. Friends of ours who adopted a Down's Syndrome baby used this patterning together with other systems and the boy is functioning at a much better level than the prognosis etc. -

My son doesn't have fragile X syndrome but for a while I thought he did and I know the fear that comes with having a child with an uncertain future and I hope the kids that will benefit from such research will have access to it soon. -

Hi, this was well known the 1970's . It was part of the Israeli kindergarten system in BeerSheva, girls from the prestige religious girl's high school Beit Yaakov were giving the exercises here (and in New York if I remember correctly) as part of their volunteering. Since then the Institute split into more than two factions over theory and practice, my friends with the Down's syndrome child used the exercise system of one of the break-off factions. Our homeopathic doctor (in New Jersey sometime in the 1980's) said the exercises worked many times faster with homeopathy. So it is sad that these exercises masy have disappeared from general knowledge. (I think they were even written about once in one of the big establishment magazines like Time, or Newsweek, but I can't be sure and I don't have all my clippings anymore). But the system was originated by Dr. Faye (spelling not sure) who was a brain surgeon trying to rehabiliate brain injured soldiers from WWII and then in the 1950's his exercises (and his controversial but successful brain surgery for epilepsy) was adopted for children born or injured with brain damage. At once point it was established, by brain surgeons in Brazil and at least one clinic was in Mexico also. Next week if I am not on a dead line I'll reseach this (bli neder--without an oath as we say here) on the net and maybe bother my friends with some emails. -

Hi, I'll do some blogs on all this 'suppressed info'. ......There were many homeopathic medical schools in the States in the 1800's until 1920 or abouts. There are still in England and Prince Charles gave a speech about 15 years ago in favorof homeopathy and saying homeopathy was used by the royal family..... When the large Russian immigration came to Israel they brought homeopathy into our pharmacies here. (There is a pharmacist in Tiberias who is an expert also in homeopathy). Here homeopathy and Bach Flower remedies are as popular as they are in Europe....... It amazes me sometimes how isolated Americans can be --outside of the major cities at least, about things that are commonplace in Europe. Not that Europe is always intelligent also, with banning of normal strength vitamins in Germany etc. Each area has its own blank spots as to knowledge, but now that there is an internet .... Once I have some time I'll try to find out as much as possible about what is going on with the patterning-- but anyone can try looking up The Institute for Human Potential on the net. ....... I've only got about an hour to waste tonight as we have to meet a deadline. And it takes us a while to get into mental gear to start back at work Saturday night after a long Shabbat. -

Homeopathic medicine is very effective for curing of any kind of disease, and this is also my personal experience.
