What I find most interesting about my situation - trying to recover my money and belongings Daren Kufere embezzled - is his lack of remorse. I've also learned that one of the main charateristics of a sociopath is the lack emotional commitment to do what's right, to respect others as equals. This quote describes him to a tee:

"They are unable to empathize or feel remorse. They lack the key qualities - honesty and trust - that lie at the heart of all sound interpersonal relations. Instead of honesty, they use manipulation; they abuse trust in order to wield power, and so it goes on."

I have come to realize that his big head will not allow him to acknowledge what he did to me or to anyone else. Almost a year ago, Daren Kufere, said he needed my help. He said he had ran out of resources and was in danger of "losing everything he had worked for". I helped him without hesitation (this was before I knew about his lies).

Whenever I bring this up, he says he has no problem with his actions - stealing from and lying to somebody who "helped" him. The utter lack of remorse on his part makes me believe he has done and got away with this type of thing before. This why I'm sharing my story. To give encouragement to others to come forward and tell theirs.

So if you or somebody you know has been victimized by Daren Kufere, come forward. He is a bully. And he can be stopped. Lets stop him now.
