Senate approves immigration bill which was passed 62-36. Very different from what the House passed last December. Before President Bush can even sign any reforms into law, The senate and House will have to argue/negotiate a plan that seems reasonable between the two bills. Do you think this Bill was amnesty. This program would allow millions of illegal immigrants alread here working a chance to get legal residency and allow some also to get citizenship.
