After looking up some old slogans, I just have to create a blog slogan. In a few days.
Anyone remember these AD SLOGANS?
Cigarette slogan - "Winston tastes good like a cigarette should" ? and the Flinstones smoking Winston! It was introduced in 1954, Wilma Flinstone smoked cigarettes in a tv ad but they pulled the ad when Pebbles was born.
"Let your fingers do the walking." - Yellow Pages, 1964
"What can brown do for you" - UPS (Oh man, how did that one get out?)
PRESIDENTIAL SLOGANS
Acid, Amnesty, and Abortion - 1972 anti-Democratic Party slogan.
Don't swap horses in midstream — 1864 U.S. presidential campaign slogan of Abraham Lincoln.
Hey, Hey, LBJ, how many kids you kill today? - Anti-Vietnam War and anti-Lyndon B. Johnson slogan from the 1960s.
OTHER SLOGAN
God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve - anti-gay slogan used by Christians who oppose homosexuality on religious grounds.
Any writers out there with a slogan for blogs? This should be fun. See the other blog post.
