  Don't make me cry!  Ha.   I had a favorite lake back home before we moved here a year ago this week!  I miss it, so I know how you feel.  It is really beautiful, and I would love to have a little walk around there myself.

  CW, that is stunning!  I love sunlight on water (that made me think of the Sound of Music song - Raindrops on Roses).  We have a lovely lake in a park close by to us, but not as big as yours :-)

  There are many great places for picnics there.  Lots of picnic tables under shelters.

  There are fish there.  There is also a beach for swimming.  I have seen at least one sailboat out on the lake.  There are camping areas as well.
