Yesterday I was flipping channels and saw a movie that I have never seen before. It came out in the 80's and the cheese factor was pretty thick. It was called "My Best Friend Is A Vampire". Gee I thought I saw them all- Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Uncle Buck, just to name of few but somehow this one escaped me.

So here's my question to the folks of SC: What is the cheesiest 80's movie you actually paid money and saw? Which one was your favorite today and which one made you think, " I can't believe I liked that movie?"

Hmm...well, one movie that I always thought really hilarious was Zapped! Has anyone else ever seen that? It came out when I was little, but I saw it on tape when I was older and it was like my favorite movie at the time. Totally cheesy though. It had Scott Baio in it! It doesn't get worse than that...

Evil T ~ Oh my god, I haven't thought of that movie in forever!  LMAO.  Yikes, that was bad.

For me......this is terrible.  Swamp Thing.  It is one of the worst movies ever!  But I loved it when I was a kid and get this.  I saw it on sale at Walmart last year and bought it.  I was thinking "This is such a great movie, I haven't seen it in ages!"  Well, it isn't as good as it used to be lol.

    Or.

Killer Clowns from Outer Space.  Has anyone seen this?  Creepy!  But hilarious (when I was a kid) but I think I'll take a lesson from Swamp Thing and not try to watch it ever again for fear of ruining a good childhood memory.

notsosingle, I actually have the Zapped! soundtrack. I don't have the movie, but I've got the soundtrack. It's funny how movies we saw when we were kids, just don't translate into masterpieces when we're older. Same with old TV shows. I used to think Three's Company was the best show on earth. But I've watched some eps. on TV Land and that was honestly the cheesiest piece of crap ever. How did I ever think that was awesome? I think Swamp Thing fits that category too! Actually any horror movie from the 80's should never be watched again. If you liked it then, just keep the memory, because it probably sucks now.

Spaceballs has to be one, although there are many, and I am not sure I
even watched all of it. It is easier to remember the good ones like ... ah ...
give me a minute ... like ... ah ... I will get back to you.

If you include Spaceballs, the History of the World Part1 should be included. Cheesy but still very funny!
