If you could be on an television show which one would it be?

Your character would be the real you...not one that is already on the show. Where would you fit in the best?

It does not have to be a show that is still on the air.....

  • mirrorimage said on Jun 19, 2007....
The simpsons is a good choice... I actually didn't even think about being a cartoon! Funny show...and they will always make the simpons memorabilia ... you could be a bobble head on the dash of someones car!

that would be cool! that gives me an idea....how bout a place you could send in a pic and they would make a bobble head of you! I want one.

    Good question, Moms!
I would have to say that I would be on....ummm....

Can it be a reality show? LOL!
If yes, then I would be on 'The Amazing Race' and I will win the million bucks.  Just so you know, I will be on some heavy drugs with all the flying involved!

If Not, I think I would be as part of the cast of Seinfeld. How fun would that be!

I think I would have fit in really good on Friends. If Chandler had a brother, I could be him!

I would love to be on a show like "everybody loves raymond"  which I did love until they took him off.  It was all so normal every day stuff you could relate, but with a sense of humor to it!! I liked the father figure, very blunt and to the point!
  • mirrorimage said on Jun 20, 2007....
I would love to be on everybody loves raymond or friends or desperate housewives.
  • mirrorimage said on Jun 20, 2007....
Interesting that no one has chosen a show like 24 or something with a little action in it.... If I could be Elliott's partner, I would want to be on law and order: SVU or CSI: Miami with the hot little lab boy....
  • biglove said on Jun 20, 2007....
I could be on a few...Seinfeld (if it were still on)....but shows that are on now, I could see myself on Family Guy, Lost, the Dead Zone and maybe 4400.

Dharma, i think that is how you spell it....i'm Abby, Dharma's mom.

My friends call me Abby too.

  • evil_twin said on Jun 20, 2007....
Me-Myself&I--Dharma and Greg, right? That's so funny! I always thought my mom was just like Dharma's mom. You guys would probably be friends :-P

Mirror........well, you should know the answer for me.....i would like to be doctor Grey, in Grey's anatomy...naturally.

Then Rachel in Friends, Carrie in Sex and the city....and Brenda in Six feet Under........Samantha Barton in Passport to Europe (now South America),  and Giada De Laurentis on Food Network....

SW...i see you perfectly as Ross....:-)

i'd like to be on a news interview show, one on one with politicians running for office.  i guess like william buckley's firing line, or whatever he called it.  i'd ask them questions nobody else does, and i'd see if i could pin them down.
  • mirrorimage said on Jun 20, 2007....
Wow, I am not all that shocked by some of the responses.... I think I know too much about some of you!!!

I forgot all about dharma & greg and murphy brown...I think That 70's show, seinfeld, friends, sex & the city, grey's....they would all be a lot of fun to be on...they are all very good shows.

We'll have our own awards show don't worry.... we don't want to put the professional actors/actresses to shame by a bunch of bloggers gone hollywood!!
  • the_infernal_optimist said on Jun 20, 2007....
I think I'd best appear on Friends, probably as a Monica-type character - though joining the SG-1 team seems like fun at times (Stargate SG-1).

infernal:SG-1 was my sisters choice as well....you'll be in good company!

I would replace the weak Captain Archer on Star Trek: Enterprise, swashbuckle the series into its full 7-Season run and nail T'Paul in the process...along with every other alien babe or starfleet hottie that I could lay my "infinitely diverse" mitts upon...
  • mirrorimage said on Jun 20, 2007....
lmao TNP....just make sure it is your best 'performance' as there will be an awards ceremony complete with red carpet....:)
  • GrapeKoolaid said on Jun 20, 2007....
Cpt. TNP being the reason why the United Federation of Planets Mandate the Prime Directive?  Interesting add-on to the stroyline.

I'd like to be in one of those National Geographic specials filming condors in South America or something.  That'd be cool, wouldn't it?
  • lfbno7 said on Jun 20, 2007....
my co-worker's daughter lives her whole life like she is on a national geographic special.  she's a college teacher.  she took her class to east africa to see animals in a safari park.  she spends months at a time following army ants or studying birds in costa rica or peru.  i think she really enjoys that life, but she doesn't fully appreciate it, because i hear from the office next door that she is often hassling with her boyfriend and whatnot, finding ways to add stress to her life.
  • mirrorimage said on Jun 20, 2007....
That would be cool Grape.... My seven year old would be your biggest fan! He sneaks out of bed in the middle of the night to watch stuff like that.  Just don't do any dangerous animals? :)

lfbno7: I don't think I could do it, but I enjoy watching the shows of other people doing it....you know nothing can attack you thru the tv! :)
  • wombat said on Jun 20, 2007....
I think I would fit in best as a younger sister of Kitty Forman on That 70's Show.  Maybe I could star in an episode where I seduce Red, and Eric runs me out of town on a rail....ha.
  • mirrorimage said on Jun 20, 2007....
lol wombat! I see ratings going through the roof after that episode!!
  • ladyofspirit said on Jun 20, 2007....
    Remeber that show "thirtysomething?"

I love that show, I still have dreams about it once in awhile.

I would totally fit into thatshow, all the self-analysis, the talking-to-death about everything -- plus I would like to have a great house, cool friends, etc.

But maybe I'm dating myself here?  Is it possible I'm so old that no one here remembers that show (ran from about 1987-1991 or so)?

  • wombat said on Jun 20, 2007....
mirrorimage:  Glad you liked that.  I do so love the 70's music, clothes and even the style of furniture.  I have an ashtray that looks "70's."  I have a strange fondness for it for some reason. Someday I would like to have a 70's party.  Wouldn't that be "a blast."?
  • Danj3ris said on Jun 20, 2007....
I already had my stint on TV. But if I could be on any show, it would be "The Amazing Race" because I would let all my pent up determination out and GO like there was no tomorrow.
  • ZsuzsiO said on Jun 20, 2007....

While all of you were listig the shows you all actually like to watch, I could not choose between all those excellent shows. I would want to be on all or any of them, cause it simply must be fun to be a part of something like that. But what I would really love to do is to be on a show like "wild on...", which is a show on MTV that takes people around the world to show how people party in different places. Yeah. But any traveling - intorducing show could do it for me. There is one on NBC that is very intelligent, and takes people into the best hotels around the world, or another one that shows how to travel and eat cheap around the world. I don't care how, I just want to be able to travel and actually see the places I go to - not just  running thru them. And getting pay for pleasure without being a hooker sure does sound good to me.

However, yesterday I got so hooked on that blog about the toilette paper, that it made me realize that I need a therapist. So I guess the show I need to be on is Starting Over. I love that show anyway, and I wouldn't mind spending some time in the California location.

I'd be on sex in the city....my dirty mind would fit right in there!!
Or I'd be phoebies best friend in friends!! I'm as dizzy as her... and I love her open mind :-) and how laid back she is...  and I'd be in the earlier series when chandler was single....so I'd get to date him :-)

I really cant think of any TV shows Id want to b in but a couple movies come to mind. "City of Angels", "Alien", and I loved the latest one with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. The Beach House or somethin like that. I wouldve liked to have starring rolls in those. And Friends is my fav sitcom. So if I had to choose a TV show, it would b that one.
