in between my cardio workout and weight resistance training i took out a breather to write this. its the first day of the week and i feel i havent accomplished much with my fitness goals. over the weekend i have made a few physical activities but none that equaled to what i have set upon prior to heading off for the province last thursday night. in the agenda i was supposed to do at least two yoga sessions, two weight training, and two ab workouts. but the real score? i was just able two do one and a half ab training sessions. half because it was nearing dinner time already and i had to take a break. after the family dinner was finished i was too tired to carry on and so i headed off to dreamland. but much of my laziness to do anything is not because of overeating [i ate considerably but not too much for em to fall in the "overeating" category] but because of something else not part of my daily life. the culprit? rpg. diablo 2 to be exact. its really not my first encounter with rpgs. over the years since my graduation from college [i was a good student then, no online games whatsoever] i have played a considerable number of rpgs ranging from the kiddie types--harry potter ; the insanely creepy--clive barker's undying and american mcgee's alice ; later i developed an addiction with warcraft 3, but now i am a reformed person whose illusion is shattered by that simple offering "kuya gusto mo ng diablo 2?". that is the voice of my other nephew jeloy offering me a pirated version of a diablo 2 installer. in that single instant all the eyebags i tried to tuck away [i have layers of em] manifested themselves overnight. i started playing in the afternoon of saturday and didnt finish until the early morning of sunday, around 5am when i realized i have to sleep else i'd be cracked all day. jeloy knocked on my door, to ask me if id join him in his morning jog. hes so amused, jaw dropping, to see me still awake and in front of my computer screen. he said goodnight the other night with me exactly in the same position. i said i wont join him else i'd be risking an accident on the road, collapsing for lack of proper rest. i thought i have overgrown such addiction [the last major ones were with undying and warcraft] but last week's turn of events disproved me! in that single sitting i was able to complete 5 quests and move up to level sixteen necromancer. yes dear readers, i am a certified lover of the eerie, ghostly and the unnatural! my choice of clan in battlerealms is always the undead lotus clan! hehehe. now i'm the necromancer alessandro raising minions to battle diablo lord of destruction! hehehe. this is so getting fucked up. i have to make up for all those exercises i've missed! now back to my dumbells...
