gee jd, you didnt have to delete my comment so fast! Ok, Nice pic! You might wanna work on that gut a little. Here comes the delete button...
  • copsunited said on Jun 17, 2007....

The "gut" is a result of emerging from a coma after virtually being pronounced dead. I was forced to quit smoking. by quitting..I mean 3 packs of cigarettes a day.. Now I have my two cigars or three...but I do not inhale.

I am not afraid to post my pic..and not ashamed of the "gut" it is me. It took lots of good food to put it there. Since I am lucky to be alive to begin with..I am not going to torture myself with diets etc.

If others don't like my Gut..tuff...Let me see some more pictures of other SC members..huh? Maybe they have LOTS more to hide?

I don't recall having deleted Froggie in a while. If your post is particularly obnoxious or stupid..I will delete immediately.. why do I need to listen to idiots?

    See?

I'm not into golf. I agree with Queen Victoria - you guys are dangerous. And it's a waste of a good walk. But I do like all the golf jokes.

Cops......I'm still waiting for the pic with the Forty-five. Christ you remind me of my dad & some of his friends on one of our hunting trips, the only difference was they were all decked out in winter cloths.

As far as the cigar is concerned, he never smoked a day in his life, I'm the only one in the family that picked up that habit-( two packs a day) I quit when I was 29yrs old but started smoking cigars somewhere in my late thirtys or early forties. I order most of my cigars thru the mail from Thompsons in Flordia. Matter of fact I just got a box of La Gloria's-( medium to full body) torpedo in about 56 ring. I go out back of my house on the patio & enjoy about 2hrs of nice peaceful time with my friend Jack Daniels & cigar!! BST

I used to do the "Thompson Cigars" until a friend of mine turned me on to

"Cigars International"..much better prices and much more selection of the name brands.

I pick and  buy only those that have a good rep or that I have had many times in the past. I love the "Rocky Patel" collection but they tend to be a little pricey.

    Laters...JD

I get their catolog also but never ordered thru them. I keep between 25 & 50 Thompson brand cigars on hand for everyday smoking, I have some of each, green, red & black bands, plus the ones that say Vintage Especiale. My other favorite is CAO's, I just noticed Rocky Patel-(Vintage 1990) for $ 175.00 for a box of twenty in Thompson's. How does that compare to Cigars International ? BST
  • copsunited said on Jun 24, 2007....

Patel's are pretty much the same everywhere.

Go to a local cigar purveyor..try one..or two.. they have the

RP "edge" in light connecticut and maduro's..about $7.00 each..that gives you a chance to try one before committing your life's savings..oh my..

I love the San Louie Ray..oh MY..great cigar.

I have um..let me see..probably 300 in various humidors...I never travel without my aluminium carrying case with built in humidor...fine cigars and CAO 's are definitely a good cigar..over priced tho...

when you go to cigars international .com..they give you a list of other cigars of the same ilk..but different prices. I love that feature.

Thanks I'll give them a try, I use a plastic carry case that holds 15 cigars & has a removable humidifier. BST

These are the things i give thanks for everyday!...
Many new and novice golfers will complain about how frustrating the game of golf is. It is not so much that the game is difficult as it is the level of mastery of each player....
Couldn't resist, lmao....
The weird and wonderful world of golf scoring makes for an interesting way to spend a bit of time...
