Private Messages Not Working

I can send private messages, but the recipients tell me they can't open them to read them. At this point, I don't think it is working at all for me. Please check it out. Thank you, CreativeWoman

    For me, it's hit or miss.  some I send weren't able to be read by the recipient, and some that I've received I've not been able to open.  When I click to open it, it redirects me back to the home page.

    i am infrequently having this issue, too. i have also rec'd the same PM twice, although it might inadvertently have been submitted twice--at the time, pages were rendering very slowly.

    i recently couldn't open a message from creativewoman. i'm wondering if it isn't related to the number of PMs a user has in their inbox (or indeed outbox).

    Given how few PMs I have in my inbox & how few I've sent I'd think that was unlikely.

    Possibly but I haven't been able to access PMs from ET & I suspect he's sent even fewer than me!

    I am the same way. There are two that I can't open. And I only have about 5 pms. They don't go away unless I delete them, but I want to keep them in case they start to work again. And I also get sent back to the Homepage. Thank you, TBS

    I posted this elsewhere, but it's still relevant.

    no one has been able to give us a clear description of the problem which makes it very hard for us to fix. Can you see the list fine? Does it only happen when you click on a specific message? Do messages that fail always fail? Can you give us the title of one of the messages and who it's from?


    The point, be extremely detailed when reporting problems or it will take much longer to fix.

    The same for the message with mom. I sent a reply to mom, telling her I didn't get it, and she sent me another message that opened up just fine. So I don't know whether it is just random glitches, or not.

    I have two messages that I cant read...same situation as sweet cookie....
    also I tried to send polar heart a message and she couldnt open it.

    You know what I think would be really really good feature......  being able to keep the messages I have sent.  because I reply and then forget what I put :-)

    maybe this is already a feature and i'm missing it?

    and.....last one I promise...I just read your stuff about tagging....  I still dont fully get the tagging system.....  I do a little better now than I did at first so sorry if I broke any tagging rules??? ........always read the instructions!!!.....hmmmm  I never do that :-)
     
    oh which is another point......its very difficult to find your way around when your first here....maybe you could consider a welcome email???  or something?? with the basics??
