Hello friends, fellow soulcast members,and Hello world.. I have had an excellent weekend and I hope you have all had a good as a weekend as I have, if not better.==== I have spent it with my girls staying over the weekend "without" there mother which has been so much fun, and i've really enjoyed myself and being a dad again. While they were here they just had to go to my-space and msn which they always do so they both had a pc to them selves, leaving me, "no" PC, so i decided to get all the pc parts that i had been accumulating "hoarding" lol, and decided to make a 3rd one and after about 8 hours i finally had an operational pc all to my self..
I also cleaned the insides of my main pc which did'ent require any software , just a good old fashioned hoover, It was while putting everything back together I realised I have 36 things attached to my pc, and I'm wondering if this is normal and i will only find out if you tell me how many things are attached to your PC, and if I get at least 10 responces , I will list all my 36 things, fair?.. go on , take a look , you may just find something behind there that has been lost for years and years !!

4. network hub (utp rj45)
5. speaker system
6. external HD (usb, optional)
7. cable for digicam (usb)
8. cable for videocam (firewire)
9. gamepad (optional)
10. ups for power
i don't have a printer and scanner connected now, they would've been #11 and #12. most of my printing and scanning is work-related, which i do or have someone do at the office.
i guess mine could possibly reach 16 with other peripherals like cellphone, mp3 player, another external hd, etc. but 36? wow...

I made total progress--however, I still can't connect to the
Internet due to the modem, which I have changed and

Heyy Holly;) I never saw your comment before!! apologies and i can only blame the gremlins,"the new batch" lol...I wish I could come over there and help you nudge nudge wink wink;)and with your pc probs,;)...Unfortunetly theres no definitive solution to any diagnosis you have as it could be soo many things.. I would have to be in front of the PC to help you,, one therory could be that if its an old pc then the system, requirements for the moden may not be sufficient thats if the modem is new, check with your isp to see what they are!! and yes I had a brilliant time, thankyou=====Moonriver===== lmao, toasted cock roaches!! Mmm thats quite a delicasy in some parts of this world, I just hope not in yours lol...... -

flytimes -- not house cockroaches...lol. they're a filthy lot. but you know, there are roach-like river arthropods that are into clean living... very environmentally conscious roaches .... so crunchy-juicy-yummy when cooked with fern tops and wild ginger root...:-)
hey flytimes and holly, can i play matchmaker for you two, if only for the sake of holly's enhanced online presence? why don't you open a chat window in ym or gmail, for a virtual on-the-spot inspection and diagnosis? i can do that too btw, but im a little preoccupied these days with equally interesting diagnostics ... *wink wink*

over there were browsing people's pages. Next thing he knows
they're flying him to LA, he's must make a ton, cuz he went right
out and boought a $50,000 car CASH!!! You know, 2 of my
brothers have this luck. Easy fortune dropped in both of their laps
when they weren't even looking. Us girls had to work for it, and I
still don't have that 50,000 car!!!
