  Taz, I don't know if women go through the same stereotypical midlife crisis men do where they want "younger women and faster cars" and are "trying to recapture their youth".
  
  
  I think women might go through a questioning period--questioning if there is more to life, if there could have been more, or sometimes questioning how they got to the point in their lives that they did get to.
  
  
  Is that a mid-life crisis? I don't know. Maybe it's just human nature.

  we all go through a crisis at one stage in our life, not always in our mid life.

  That silly phase where men start to deal with the fact that they are no longer at their physical peak is similar to when a woman realizes that she is no longer at her utmost physical beauty.
   
  I think the main difference is that women tend to invest heavily in cosmetic repairs to regain that bloom where as men tend to surround themselves with objects that add value to themselves (in society's eyes).
