I love playing the blues. The song is sweet and bluesy....but it's sad.
When I started playing the guitar, it's the blues that caught my ears and I fell in love with the music of Robert Johnson (the pioneer of blues back in the 1920s).
I love Delta Blues! It's simple to play as well. It has catchy melody with steady bass.
I tried Piedmont Blues as well. But it's much more difficult to play. Sigh...
I tried blues rock as well. I tried to play Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Wow it is superb! I tried playing some other blues rock song as well such as Sunshine of Your Love by Cream.
However, the blues has its sad element. I once played the blues and almost cried. Darn...what's in the blues!
Well, they say that to play the blues is to be the healer and to listen to the blues is to be healed.
Well, well, well, I played the blues and I got even sadder! LoL!!
I abandoned the blues for the moment because I'm under some sort of depression right now. Instead I play classical songs now! Woopiiee....I don't feel that sad anymore....I think I feel more 'romantic' now....
So playing the blues doesn't really help curb any sadness.....it makes you feel sad instead.
