  ever hear of St. Malachi (mal-a-ki)? I wish I had my notes with me

  so I could give you an exact date, but obviously, he predicted all

  of these things BEFORE there ever was a pope.

  St. Malachi is a saint who protects children & keeps mothers from

  going mad!! However, before any of this history happened, he

  correctly identified every single pope that has come in exact

  order. He predicted that after John Paul II ( who of course, died

  not so long ago) there would only be two more popes (so we are

  on #1 pope now). The last one will be named, or take the name

  of Peter. It is during his reign that the end of times shall begin.

  Also, this is not St. Malachi, but I have heard this for years, a

  prediction from somewhere in the Catholic community. That

  the pope elected following John Paul II, will not be pope for long.

  Its believed that he will die soon, making way for the final pope,

  which we signal the beginning of the end.  I have also heard

  2012 as the possible date. (Yikes!! not enough time!!)

  Anyway-cool topic-I find this kind of stuff fascinating.

  The Mayans were a pagan peoples who worshipped false gods and practiced human sacrifice; too things that God is ardently against in the Bible. God has destroyed whole civilizations in the past for these types of transgressions and if you notice, the Mayan civilization no longer exists; it's nothing but ruins. Given this, I would not trust in their so-called "prediction" for the future for it is based in mysticism. Also, like Nostradamus' quatrains, the Maya's translated prophecies are very vague and open to interpretation. The Bible clearly states to us that God the Father is the only being in existence who knows the time of the end; not even the angels or Jesus the Son knows the time! Rather than occupying our time on the speculation of dates, we should spend our time trying to convert others before the end comes.

         A little known fact; in one of Enoch’s books, there is a prophecy (which I would link to but can’t recall right just now) stating that the “pagan nations” in the last days would “adorn their trees with gold and silver ornaments.”  Sounds a bit like our highly commercialized Christmas doesn’t it?  “Pagan” is a word used loosely and intentionally by the prevailing rulers of orthodox dogma.  And is reserved rightfully for the enlightened.  Some would and for good reason, consider this society to be pagan because never in human history has the poor been more destitute.  Or the politics that have been mixed with religion to the disadvantage of our spiritual potential.  Nor have there been the number of injustices and killings because of religion. Gnostics were labeled as “heretics” around 1st to 2nd century A. D. due to religious tension but its ironic that the Gnostics predated any and all orthodox doctrines!

         About the whole interpretation thing…ALL scripture is esoteric and based upon your level of recognition.  And to what belief should the whole be converted to pre’ tell?

         I have an article on this same subject that I have been meaning to post every since March.  As many have said, we are in the Kali Yuga (Yuga meaning “age”, Khali meaning “darkness”) or the last period of a four season cycle.  I’ve been doing extra homework on this so that I will have a lot of links and such.  But your answers will come in a broader spectrum when you look outside of the box of the Bible.  Conceivably, you can think of it like this: the Bible is not the first book ever written and I assure you, it’s far from the last.  And if it was the only book worthy of our attention then our Creator would have caused it to be so.  But our Creator is too, too vast for that and we can benefit from being like our Creator.  In my heart of hearts I truly believe people like you and I are the awakening of a more equal awareness.  In this contra/diction of a world that we live in, just to be able to think in these regards proves to me that the end is merely a beginning.  Food for serious thought: the beginning of our current cycle is around the same time the Jews came to prominence with there Torah.  The beginning of which would serve as a cannon for the worlds current beliefs…

  you know *2fold*~~~ i am, as are many, confused
  as far as what or when the end shall be. however,
  i grew up in church, and I've done a lot of studying
  on this subject. whether it will be 2012, I don't know.
   
  However, I believe in God, and I know the bible well
  enough to say I believe in it also. And isn't it interesting
  that so many people from such different time periods
  and walks of life should manage to all come to a
  similar conclusion??

  Okay I'll share my thoughts.  I was a Mayan in a past life, and I was the person responsible for the fact that the calendar ended in 2012.  I'm surprised that people notice it even now.  The simple truth is that I ran out of paper and I started getting carpal tunnel too.

  Since I do not believe that Jesus is returning to save anyones hide I also do not believe in the literal interpedtation of the Bible or it's insights into the ending of anything. Jehovah left the planet,  for what reason I can only guess,  but as the Bible reads the people were pretty tired of him. He will try and return again one day but need not if the belief in him as the creator god and  the following of people who act like him are no longer followers of him.  On www.fourwinds10.com there are many archived teachings about 2012 as there are also many other sites. For me, I look at what we have done to destroy our food,  water and air and see it as a wayshower that says we have to change or die.  Perhaps this was seen back long agao and forecast for this time.  Perhaps we are the ancient civilizations who just return over and over again and destroy the same way again. Maybe this is why it is so easy to predict this future happening. Please add any others who predict the future.  Edgar Casey was one.

    I am a Christian, and have given up on Christian "end of days" predictions, there is a Christian apocalypse prediction , just about every 4 years.

  Perhaps if this is a "rerun"  the 2012 is the time they have figured out it would take us to destroy everything. Have any  one of you read the Edgar Cayce predictions?  How about Ramtha? There is an audience being given in Miami the 17th on days to come 2007-2012.  In one book "The Last Waltz of The Tyrants" there are many references given to what is happening on earth and why.  Also the site www.nohoax.com has info and a book that they will send out. It is a set of three and most enlightening.  Here's to knowledge.  Love and Blessings.

  One problem with picking a date is that the date comes and goes, and nothing happens, and then what?  The Jehovah's Witnesses should be facing up to this problem. They have taken the position that we are now in the final days, and that the outside limit of the existence of life on earth is when the last World War One era person dies.  Well, we are just about there now, and they are proven wrong.  But do you know how they will rebound after their adamant deadline has passed and they have been proven wrong?  They'll just shut up about it and pretend they haven't been screaming for nearly a hundred years that this is the end.  Same thing will happen  with the 2012 doomsday people.  Make lots of noise, end out proven wrong, and then just pretend they never said anything, find some other delusion to enjoy.

         The BIGGEST issue for me on this subject is the fact that all of our facts and even our very consciousness of this prophecy stems from an outer coercion.  We are being told this is going to happen, we are being given the circumstances as to how it will happen and all the confusion comes in at the dates and circumstances!  There are so many versions!

         I used to literally lose countless hours of sleep, pouring myself into line after line and page after page of physical information in an effort to get to the bottom of it for myself.  My dreams became (and still are) influenced quite often as well, adding more space in my already cluttered diaries.  But the TRUTH of the matter is that we are being goaded into tunnel vision: a hylic or physical/linear one at that.  That is, when we don’t heed the teacher that is our heart/spirit.

         This version is not so hard to decipher.  

         I believe that no future is written; it’s only a short hand version.  That’s what my heart says.  Though raised predominantly southern, all whites are not your enemies i. e.; all don’t want to see blacks ignorant, utterly subservient and ultimately extinct.  I’ve been called the N word since I was 8 and was just called one last Friday; I don’t make it an issue, some do it themselves.  All blacks aren’t thugs.  I look “thugged out” only because of the length of my hair and some of my clothes.   The very same ones labeling me find it difficult to hold eye contact with me as well.  Then, when they hear my conversation, they think I’m an “uppity one”, though they even have said they have a hard time following my train of thought.  But ALL have the spark of the Creator.  Now the latter statement is one that I myself strive to concentrate on.  I’m not going to let someone else’s ignorance hinder my spiritual development.  Once you get down to the ROOT basics, the universe becomes quit simple.  Wo/man kind rises and falls just like that which surrounds them.  But unlike outer nature, each person has the power to change their awareness thereby effect the overall outcome.  Nature follows its way without stubbornness.  If we would do the same yet chose the more cultivating ideas in human nature it would work out.  But the first thought is: “but how is that going to happen?”  Then we just give up hope. 

         And so, it doesn’t.   

         Just by me learning new (or not so like mine) perspectives causes irrevocable fluctuations in the space time continuum.  Then I develop different conclusions from those I would have drawn out of ignorance.  So I pose a question what would you like to see?  Because if there is enough people pushing it, then it becomes reality.  That’s how I’m beginning to predict 2012.  I realize my divinity,  I express it, tell others (which is really my “Self”) and utilize it.

         One more thing…

         There was this study were some scientist were feeding either monkeys or baboons bananas on this island.  The peels were still on, mind you.  The scientist noticed that everyone ate the banana the same way. One day, one of the females (women are so deep!) smashed her banana on the ground, eating it without the peel.  All the primates followed this same behavior all throughout the island.  But what struck the fancy of the scientist was that even those primates on other islands having no contact with these monkeys followed the same pattern.  Consciousness is the cause of fads, sicknesses, health, poverty and even reality itself!  Until we all come into the unity of this faith, unto a perfect measure…

  2foldONE. Thank you for your posts.  I love it.  You are so correct. The only thing I would like to say is that there are patterns of human behavior,  that each chooses, that leaves a roadmark of where they are heading. It is like if you destroy the water, land,  air and food you are going to have to face living without these things.  In our present situation greater consciousness is needed for people to understand this and hopefully correct it. Also following the leader, which has never worked for the masses,  always  allows money and power to flow to the top until the masses have nothing.  A repeat cycle I suspect.  Also on the primates.  This is called the 100th monkey effect and many studies have been done on it. The higher teaching here is that is if one person can do the greater things that Jesus did and promised that all could do,  then all people can do it too.

  I did not mean to imply that 2012 was the end of the world or Jesus returning or anything like that.  What I meant was that it could be that 2012 is an ending of the world that all have known and accepted for so long.  I believe that a world of superconsciousness is coming and people will be assisted in waking up and knowing who and what they are.  Jesus said that all would do the greater things than he did.  I believe that is the coming cycle of our evolution.  7-17-07 is a day that www.firethegrid.com has purposed for a day to send love to our planet that we may assist her healing.  Please check it out.  Joy To All.

  What I do know is that it is an ending of life as we have known it for so long.  Things that seem so important to us now will not be the things important to us in the days to come.  It is an ending of the consciousness of hate and war. It is the beginning of love,  compassion, community,  sharing and caring.  These things will enable us to survive the ending of the old and be a part of the beginning of the new.

  There is an interesting article on www.fourwinds10.com on Agartha.  It tells of Admiral Byrd's documention and book about the people who live in the center of the earth.  I understand that for many years there have been other books about this and can be ordered but where I have not discovered yet. It is said that the governments of the world know about these civilizations but keep them secret for "resons of national security"  or they do not want the people to know.  Peace

  Hi, Shiningstar. No this isn't that book. The book Interview With The Masters is about an interview Anna Bir did through Callen, a spiritual medium who has the web site amystic.com. The book contains information about 2012. It tells that a woman will come forth and tell us about God and what we need to do to gain our places in heaven. She is a descedent of Jesus. The book has information about Mary Magdalen and her relationship with Jesus. They were married and they had a daughter. The book has a ton of information about other things, too, like the pyramids and Stonehenge. It talks about how this is the third time God created all this because we kept destroying it all, along with ourselves. It was a fascinating read.

  Yes Moelt ,  it does sound like a good read.  But I,  personally do not beleive in anyone having to try to have a place in heaven.  There are teachers on the planet right now and have always been here to teach us how to find Self and how to gain the wisdom of the power that is within each self.  The Kingdom of heaven is within Jesus said.  No one has that key except theseld. Nelson Mandela said that it is not our powerlessness that we fear it is our power.  These things are plainly stated by Jesus in the Bible.  They are found in all of the books based on the Masters Lives.  But religions take them and "revise"  them until few jewels are left except to the diligent seeker. It is the acceptance of our Power that will free us and learning how to walk in step with our Divine Source that will bring to us the knowledge to do the greater things that Jesus stated so blantantly that all could do.  Peace

  I agree with you, Shiningstar, but apparently there are very few people who fully believe that. Or maybe they just don't accept it. I don't know. What I do know is way too many people say they believe in God, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, they don't really. There are teachers already here who know the way, one is Sai Baba in India, but there are too few people who listen to him. Maybe it's time we had someone who can show us the way in a different manner. Maybe the one who is mentioned in the book Interview With The Masters. 2012 is not that far away. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

  The 2012 time,perhaps,  is about a changeof consciousness on the planet.  As Einstein siad if one just keeps doing the same thing and expecting different results that is insanity. As we apparently have staggered down this same path for many years it probably wasn't difficult for someone to say that e would wipe out the resourses of the world around then.  And THEN maybe we would begin to open up to really know what the Masters came to teach the people.Peace

  The bible says no one knows the day nor the hour the son of man shall come, it also says that he will come like a theif in the night when no one suspects. So no one can tell me when he is coming back beacause there is no way to tell. Others have said certain dates that jesus was suppose to come back and they past us already and they weren't right either. My best advice is to make sure that u r ready 2 go 2 heaven when jesus returns, to watch and pray, and warn others of his return. But as far as knowing the date, month, year, or whatever no one knows.

  It is very clear that in 2012 major events will occur that will mark the end of an ear and the coming of a greater age.  Whether you look to the ancient Hindu or Buddhist or Hopi or Mayan teaching, they all point to the same conclusion.  No one knows the final outcome.  But we all see signs that point to the new Messiah, the Blessed one and the comong of a new age.  Ancient Kenyan teachings mentions the coming of a Bleesed One, the Baracka, who will reign over the most powerful army. He will make peace with the Kali or devil. He will tame the forces of nature (possibly global warming). The mayan calendar ends on the winter soltice of 2012 and then comes the new age. The lamb and the lion will lay down beside each other. there will be no more famine or pestilence. The Baracka would have saved the world and will be transformed in to the Messiah. He will be tranformed from the head of the most powerful army to the head of the most peacful organization that rules the world. This will be the golden age but will not occur until 4-8 years (Nostradamus's 40th quadtrain) after appearin as head of the army. The Goden age of Monsignor Ronald A.   look i am a christian an what everyone needs to understand is that there is no tag on earth that says were going to die on dec 22 2012. Okay just look back year 2000 what was the prediction?? it was Y2k. did it happen, no. the one thing i can say is yes the world will end we will all be judged by God himself. It could be tomorrow or it could be another 100 years no one knows.. We have yet to see the Antichrist and we are not in the Seven year peace agreement. We as in ALL people of the world need to focus on helping others and preaching the word of God so that every one will have the chance to live in heaven. There will be times of false prophets and times of endless wars... I pray for all of you that do not believe in God and just remember 2012 could be the year but so could tomorrow so please get right with God and save you life now.
