Basically for those that don’t know its almost like playing a games of sims but real time,
People go on line and live a secondlife, can get job, earn money ect buy land , am sure the organisation has made a fair few £ on this also.
For the first few months it was kind of addictive and now I guess ,now and again I find myself, logging on as a force of habit more than anything else,
I suppose I made a few friends, there, the only thing is you cant have any kind of conversation in there as most people seem to be living out the “second life” so no one wants to talk about real life issues, I guess all in the world of escape, I know, that’s what the idea of chat room are about, but surely if we are escaping from our normal every day life, why would we escape to another life, of fraud, of false dating, and hurt.
i just don’t see the attraction, of replacing your normal physical life, with a cyber equivalent? I may be wrong, and don’t misunderstand me its only my opinion but what’s the meaning to it?
As anyone been in there??? What do you guys think?
