I'm 5'7" and weigh 175 pounds. Yes, I need to lose a few pounds, I'm reminded of this in some form every day. But based on what I see, hear and read in the media, being thin is never good enough. We live in a society in which Drew Barrymore, who is pretty much as close to perfection as one can get, is considered fat or chubby. And Scarlett Johanssen, who is tiny, is considered a voluptuous girl. How thin do you need to be in order to be considered acceptable in society? The trend seems to be heading towards anorexia.
