ed... it says words that end in dous not gous... hmm i am confuse here now... can you or ed clear this for me?
  • Heartwalker said on May 31, 2007....
Dear sweetcookie, The word Humongous means,

    Huge, enormous.

    humongous

One entry found for humongous. Main Entry: hu·mon·gous
    Pronunciation: hyü-'m&[ng]-g&s, yü-, -'mä[ng]-
    Variant(s): also hu·mun·gous  /-'m&[ng]-g&s/
    Function: adjective
Etymology: perhaps alteration of huge + monstrous
    : extremely large : HUGE <a humongous building> <humongous amounts of money>

looks like our ed has made a mistake in perception, well it is not humongous, it is a small mistake and we can overlook the fact.

That's right, it says words ending in dous, not in ous.

If it were ous, then there are many words like various, multivarious, nefarious, etc...

You saw right cookie, and I have given you a good link to follow to earn humongous amounts of monies.Try it and you will like it.

I wonder what will happen if we all just start speaking in our native language???
