Scott Linehan, head coach for the pitiful Rams, retires, as does Jets head coach Monty Kiffin.
Head Coaching Changes
Former Bandits' head-coach-turned-defensive-coordinator Mike Nolan will once again be in the driver's seat as he heads to Dallas to replace the Tuna, who jetted to New York.
The Rams attempt to restart the rebuilding process by poaching Texans head coach Gary Kubiak.
Cincinnati adds a highly-touted offensive mind as their head coach, stealing Browns O-coordinator Mike Mularkey. Mularkey has some head coaching experience with the Bills back in 04 and 05, but has led two of the best offenses in the NFL over the past five seasons in the Browns and Dolphins.
The Bengals former head coach, Greg Williams, lands on his feet, taking over the reigns in Houston, replacing Kubiak.
The Tuna returns to his old stomping grounds in New York, taking the Jets' head coaching job vacated by Monty Kiffin. Parcells had a good season in Dallas in 2010, but decided to jump ship.
Minnesota made a move for their head coaching position that has many analysts scratching their heads. The Vikes have signed Hall of Fame linebacker Willie McGinest to their top coaching position, despite McGinest's complete lack of experience. I guess they hope some of Bill Belichick's genius rubbed off on him. McGinest retired from the league in '07.
