Who's reading cakebottom (33):
As I have not been able to muster the time or energy to make my way down to the basement with my overstuffed laundry bag, I was forced to wear a skirt to class today.  Yep, I said the dreaded "s" word.

Cakebottom does not do skirts.

Every time I throw on a skirt, something goes wrong.  The wind picks up, someone spills a drink, I trip over nothing...

Cakebottom and skirts just do not mix.  Murphy's law at its best.

I have somehow made it through the first half of my day accident free, but I had a few close calls, including the elevator-door-of-doom incident (that thing eats limbs if it can get a hold of them, I swear), the classmate-bumps-my-table-and-almost-spills-my-tea fiasco, oh, and there was that heart pounding moment where the wind almost revealed my backside to the world.  Thankfully I don't have to leave my room again until dinner.

I live in fear.

On a side note, I hate tagging my posts.

ed- that would be great if I actually liked shopping.  Cakebottom doesn't do shopping in the same way she doesn't do skirts.

    luci- thank you :)
