Soulcast: the movie

I got hooked to this new Tv show: “On the lot”.

 

Reason why it's all about movies. And I love movies. I could watch and talk about movies all day.

 

So the goal of the competition is winning over 50 contestants writing a story, editing and directing one 2 minutes and half short movie.

The winner will have 1 million dollars for directing their own movie at Hollywood. Talk about a dream come true....

 

Last night one contestant couldn’t even write a basic plot from a given storyline though.....

I mean, he won over 12 thousand other aspiring directors to arrive there but in front of the three judges he has not been able to present them a shred of a plot.....

So he was out....

Now....

 

If you would be one of those contestants and I would give you as assignment to write a plot for a movie having only one requisite in mind which story you would come up with?

 

The only requisite is: all the characters of your movie have to be your fellow Soulcasters.

    In a romance-mystery, Silverwhisper must find the person who stole the key to Creative Woman's website and turned it into a porn-for-profit site featuring dramatizations of SW's most famous sensuous blogs. The prime suspect himself, he enlists help from CW, Sidhe, Zayda and Gingersoul to find clues in the writing on the replacement web pages but the surprise comes when MissMimi rolls in with the perfect solution. This saves SW from being jailed and soon CW is once again making children and their parents happy with delightful kids clothing.

    Ginger, there is plenty of opportunity for romance but the geometry of it would develop during the writing. And since every movie hero has a comedic sidekick, I would cast myself in that role.

    off the top of my head...i'm envisioning an espionage thriller. bloc is an attorney working for the ACLU and is lead counsel in a suit agains the US government over abuse of "enemy combatants", and is working alongside muckpar. the US attorney opposing is curmudgeon. however, members of a rogue department within DHS, a sinister, shadowy bunch as portrayed by alienated, is pursuing a separate goal that secretly puts him into conflict with all parties, unbeknownst to any of them. when investigative reporter GS approaches bloc with a mysterious information packet with proof that goes well beyond the ACLU's original charges however, the story really takes off.

    SW......spies, politic and thriller.....love it.....specially because i am in as investigative reporter....

    the choices of the other protagonist is great: bloc, muckpar, curmudgeon, alienated.....this would be packed with suspence and tension.....:-)  

    Skald......what about a lovestory between a lonely but artistic Iceland man (HBC) who lives in the middle of nowhere and any of our beauties at SC (we have so many....you pick one ) with the two of them meeting during a trip in Italy? Will she follow him in that beautiful but wild land? Will he drop everything to stay with her whatever she lives? How about that?....i

    My plot is pretty dense...i am envisioning something like a virtual city in which a war is on between blogsites. The ambience is like Blade Runner.

    Polar, Moon and Mobil are the first ones to notice the dangerous infiltrations from other blogsites. Strange messages, cryptic notes, anonymous letters start to arrive to each of us.

    The Soulcast community is in fervent buzzing alert.

    Skald one night notices a strange blinkling word on her screen from her Iceland postation. She tries to alert  Botoni and SW but she got kidnapped.

    Finally Satyr and Lioneljay decodify the mysterious messages.

    A lusty romance will grow between MsStar and  Bluesnake, Rmuxagirl and Beyond.

    Moon organizes the resistance exchanging secret notes with Kruu and Daily who are the only one who can still travel without being suspected.

    Secret, Jenna and Mamie will infiltrate in the enemy headquarters as cleaning crew. The rest is in the sequel...LOL>..

    Ok mine would be a sadistic thriller called, "Cape Mimi". Mimi would be an ex dominatrix that had just recovered from a Coma from playing reversal of roles with one of her stable men, Botoni.  Mimi has been brought back by her eunich slaves that had been nursing her back to health. 

    Mimi gets up and dons her most favorite leather boustier, black leather thigh boots and grabs her knitted flogger and with her trusty side kick, LJ goes in search of Botoni who is actually an android.  As she goes to see her private dick (investigator) played by Ed, a strange woman and beautiful woman played by GS comes out of the shadows.  GS is also in search of someone going by the name of HBC known by his comrades as "The inflictor."

    Ed, LJ, GS and Mimi set out to find these incorrigables and make them pay for their indescretions.  Their clues lead them to Botoni, and it is discovered that Botoni has married and ex-cop and Mimi knows that is punishment enough.  So she is happy.  They question Botoni about HBC and find out where he is hiding out. 

    They track him  down and Mimi and HBC have a flog off, without giving the details, they find HBC dead with tire tracks all over his face.

    Mimi rides off into the sunset with LJ and Ed pulling her, She cracks her knitted flogger at them and they yelp with pain. She lets out wild laughter.

    The end.

    if this was the movie! i, the queen will be star of course!!!
     
    i will be travelling the whole world finding soucasters looking for clues to find the founder of soulcast... of course each soulcast member will give me a clue!!!
     
    i will go to manila for lioness, daze, sweetcookie and sulpot. and then go to mindanao for yani...
     
    then i will go to japan for hotaka. then to italy for gingersoul... iceland for skald... mousephonic in south africa... polarheart in the u.k.... kruuyai in poland...
     
    amd then i will travel all over the u.s. meeting other soulcasters... from ed, to mom, to msbradford, to daily in boston, to moonriver, secretlife, to missmimi, to creative woman, to bronx in new york, to evil twin in california, to hbc, to wombat, to jenna, to zayda... and to all american soulcasters...
     
    lastly i went to botoni in canada and his clue was, "go to the place where you found sulcast..." and then i went home to my room and i was surprise that all of the soulcast members i visited was on my room and soulcast himself was there...
     
    he gave me a buoquet of flowers and said, "ive been waiting for you all my life. i made soulcast so i could meet you!!!"
     
    and was about to kiss me when.....
     
    i fell off my bed and i realize that it was just a dream... 
     
    hehehehehhehe and of course in my movie i lost 30 lbs and was a supermodel!!!

    Uhmmmm, gingersoul, you know how my mind works (wink).  Mine would be an X-rated movie (grins) with all of you lovely ladies of SC and starring me in the lead role (of course)........and we all know X-rated movies don't have plots - LOL.

    Mom...i would go to watch this movie for sure....lol...

    HBC as Inflictor and Mimi as dominatriz is a a great idea.....also teaming up HBC with Botcake.....the new Stansky and Hutch .....lol.....i see drama and adventure and conflicts and suspence written in capital letters here.....i love the title too...:-)

    Sweet ....so something more romantic with intricated twists....gotcha ...:-)

    TNP.....naturally you will be the TheNaked Director...:-)

    Queen...interesting.....so you will end up meeting Mister Soulcast himself....and he made up all of this only to meet you?.....great plot...the outside shots are guarantee to be spectacular.......:-)

    Satyr...LOL..oh man, a  Boogie Nights revisited?......ok, i want to be the girl with the roller skates then....

    Kelly......well. we do have some characters who could be used for that parts......the selection is all yours... ....:-)

Hey, wait a minute-- I have eunuch slaves?  What a rip off.  I want a rewrite.  I can picture Ed in a fedora sitting on the edge of his desk, offering the mysterious woman, GS, his handkerchief to dry her tears.  Gotta be careful, Ed.  Those antennae keep popping out from under your hat... ;)

    Mimi.....well, i have to agree with you...its a rip off... maybe Mom will adjust the plot for you .......but ....what about those antennae you are talking about? i am missing something here? ...an important detail of the movie?........

    Mimi- I put Eunuch slaves because all queens had them,  you had enough men groveling for your attention and you needed to be protected.  But the Eunuchs still had tongues. :)

    Ginger- Ed has a nickname of Doodlebug so ergo the antennae.

    About the orgy .....are you proposing me to open the dance?....nice.....but, you see, i am more for intimate session......you know, the kind of scene they have to shoot with closed doors....only authorized crew on the set......LOL...

    It could be a story placed in a cute, nice flowers shop...he goes there to buy some flowers for his girls of the day and instead falls in love at first sight with the beautiful owner...this one is played by you, naturally .....and you pick the man...lol...

    well just got back a few minutes ago. it sure was nice. *smile* so, i did take a pen and paper. i thought on all of us and things that we had written. of course, i copied off an old wonderful moive, one flew over the cuckoo nest. we all are locked up in a hospital, each doing there own thing.....

    The doctors are You and Moonriver, always whispering two each other. 

    The nurses are Secret and Infernal. Secret is always walking the halls, checking in, seeing if everything is running correctly. While Infernal, is passing out the happy pills, taking a few herself.  

    We have two guards which are Lucy with a tazer, mOOn with his spy glasses.

    Then we have the ears and eyes for the hospital, the housekeepers, they are Quietone who hears everything and Hegemone who keeps in touch with each of us.

    Now for the patients.... Uniquely is helping the housekeepers with keeping an eye out with her camera, always taking peoples pictures, catching us in doing bad.

    Paper is recording every little move we all do. Pen in her hand, watch that too.

    Fraggle thinks she is a rock star, playing her air guitar every day.

    Travelr is always trying to escape, always trying to run out.

    Wombat is trying to climb the wall to get out.

    CW is knitting a rope to go over the wall with Wombat. But first she must paint her nails.

    Queenie thinks she is a queen, going around crowning her subjects with this blue thingie.

    Grape is a wizard, casting spells and walks with his staff. He has long white hair and beard.

    Cayenne thinks his a pro football player tackling everyone every day.

    For Me, i think i am some kind of a wood nymph, passing out flowers.

    LOL....  Well get all of us in one room and i do believe that would be enough for anyone to make a moive with!
