Today i attended a very nice discussion about the virtual world and about the possibility people have to escape their daily life. FOr some, online games took over reality. A corean guy died because he didnt eat, in another case some children starved because the parent couldn't logout from the game....
The border between virtual and real become thiner every day.......can you imagine your life without virtual money.....the credit card????
People i am surrounded by, take theyr laptops everywhere (except toillet i guess) is like they feel insecure or strange or......i don't know...if they do not have the computer in front of them. Even if they do not use it ......it needs to be turned on.....to be prepared for a nice little escape from reality where you can jump from a discussion you don't like into your favourite gossip newspaper or friends' photos or anything that u type in there.....just to escape because you can.Silently.
Sometimes i think that this virtual world took us over...even without us  noticing that.......
