Inspired by kingcobra's post, which generally talks about life (and death), I am posing this question:
Personally, HOW DO YOU DEFINE LIFE, as you are experiencing it at this very moment? Express it whichever manner you wish.
I go first.
For me, life is a series of battles. One must learn from each experience. Victory depends on one's disposition. The longer you stay, the more you learn, the tougher you become.

life makes you feel every color of the rainbow.... some can be dark like the blues and violets and some can be light light yellow and whites... it can be full of love like the reds and the pinks... put all the colors together and it makes life wonderful. -

Life is like a stew for me (thats adobo for the Pinoys....hehehe). Some are the meat, some are the veggies, some are the spices, some are the thickeners. We re all in there together, sometimes in the heat, sometimes being brazed, sometimes cooled and warmed again. The result.................delicious! -

Lioness, I can't believe I wasn't subscribed to you. I remember you from last year and your comments.
Life is for me pretty much what you said. I have experienced a lot of things and have learned a lot about being human. (It's not as easy as it looks.) Like you said, there are battles, and sometimes you are on the right side and sometimes on the wrong side. These days I have been reflecting a lot about my life (and lovelife) and find myself questioning whether or not I am on the right track (thus I was down yesterday when things ran afoul at home - bad timing). In the end, one hopes to grow and have a deeper understanding of life, love and relationships. I have read comments and song lyrics by mature musicians and I can see I have a ways to go to be like them. I also find that sometimes good people get in bad situations and have to find their way. It's hard to judge people as right or wrong as you get older. You learn to see the problem as wrong and the person as someone going through a rite of passage.
Definately, I encourage enjoying life to the fullest and keeping busy doing something you love. In the end I hope most of us will be able to say like the lyrics to Satisfied by the Odds.
And when he asks me if I had a good time I'll say,
"Get the lights, Mr. Grim Reaper."

lioness- Work at 64-70? I'll give you some examples. Several men have told me that their wife has another full time job for them (around the house). Friends and family find they have a new helper. Some can't stand the free time and find another job. One man I knew moved to his dream location and built a home- said he never worked so hard.
Actually, its best to keep busy.
