It was a thermal pedicure.

I liked it actually.  Oil of Olay has a new product out that is called Thermal Pedicure.  You apply it to your feet before your bath or shower.  You instantly feel warmth.  It's quite nice.  My feet felt soothed and were nice and smooth afterwards. I'll definitely keep using it.

It was a nice way to pamper myself.

With summer nearly here, who doesn't want pretty sandal feet?

One of my guilty pleasures is to go have a spa pedicure during lunch hour every now and then.  Nothing aces having pretty toes.

I will keep a look out for that CW.

I tried something new yesterday - Superstay Lipstick by Maybelline - I could not believe that a lipstick could stay on so long without rubbing off.  It really worked wonderfully!

sounds good to me!... i cant go on more than a week without having my pedicure... it feels good to see cute painted toes in a beautiful flip flop!

    skald,
    It was nice. Thanks.

    uniquely,
I've never gone for one of those.  It might be nice sometime though.

    polar,
L O VE  lipstick!  I will have to check that brand out.  I always have on lipstick even if  I'm just home alone.

    ed,
It doesn't really.  Nice thought.  I can't complain about smooth feet though.  :-)

    queen,
    Thank you.

    sweet,
I love my toes painted, but I prefer a strappy sandal over a flip flop.  That is due to my lack of grace walking in them.  :-)

I'm going to have to try this, CW.  My feet are so damaged from the winter cold.  Dry and cracked and they hurt!

CW, I'm addicted to pedicures!  I got my first one about four years ago as a gift while I was prego w/ my first.  I was so amazed at how cute my feet were, I get them all the time now.

Polar,  I tried the Superstay a few months ago and LOVE it too!  I loved it so much, I wrote to Maybelline and told them.  The one thing I don't like is that I can't wear it with my clear retainer because it gets lipstick-colored spots on it that are hard to get off.  But I hate the clear retainer anyway and usually wear the ugly metal one (just got braces off last December).

    daily,
I get those cold weather feet too.  I liked how this thermal pedicure stuff made my feet feel smooth by the end of my shower.

    Bomb,
It's good you pamper yourself that way.

I love those lipsticks that stay on a long time, but have you noticed they dry out your lips a bit?  That part I don't like. I've used the Revlon brand before.  Maybe the Maybelline will be different.

The maybelline kind is double-sticked.  On one end is a liquid w/ applicator.  The other end has a clear moisture stick that's more like a traditional lipstic.  You put on the color and wait 2 minutes; then apply the clear stick as often as you want for softness.

CW... i remember you wrote another blog about this topic and i commented citing at the end Pablo Neruda ......an din doing so opening the road to unexpected further poetry and soul pampering...LOL.....

So i found this topic very dear to me...i tell you again what i told you last time...

Pedicure? ok. Pretty toenails polish? Ok too.

BUT...give me a strong, sensual, long and interrupted foot massage and then i will be talking about pleasure and pampering........LOL....

  • CreativeWoman said on May 09, 2007....
    ginger,
I did write about pedicures several months back pertaining to polish, etc.  I guess I like having my feet pampered.  :-) I was so thrilled with this new Thermal Pedicure product by Oil of Olay that I decided to talk about it again.

You are right. Foot massages never go out of style...whether given or received.

Have to admit that I'm lazy. I'm a big fan of my favourite nails place where I enjoy a spa pedicure. That product sounds wonderful though.

    sweet,
It was something fun to try at home.  I'm glad you enjoy the professional spa.
