So I saw my only close girlfriend for some Cinco de Mayo early drinking festivities. Well during our chatting time she told me that she had need some advice. I told her how come she hadn't called me. She says that the problem took place on Wednesday around 9:00pm. She knows that at time I am watching one of my favorite shows "Criminal Minds" the other one is "Bones" it also airs on Wednesdays but at 8:00pm. So she did not want to disturb me. I was kind of shock she thought I wouldn't have listened. Perhaps I would have been bothered but I at least would have heard her out and tired to have helped her out.
So the question is during what show do your friends and family know not to disturb you during?

Oh they dont disturb me when i am watching CSI NY, Las Vegas or Miami... and if they start to say something i say shhh and then they wont talk to me anymore. -

Ahh...it's refreshing to see a woman who respects TV show time! I'm a bit of a TV junkie myself and no one disturbs me during House or CSI (unless they just don't know any better...ahem. Like someone I recently met...) But I'm also addicted to Heroes and I will not pick up the phone if someone calls me. I don't care what they want. You can't miss even a little bit of that show, or you'll be lost.

Honestly, no television show is that important to me that I would tune anyone in my family or my closest friends out. Friends and family are more important than any television show any day in my book. -

sweet-cookie: I use to watch CSI NY, Las Vegas and Miami but I lost the storyline when I started taking night classes so I stopped watching. But those are 3 awesome shows.
evil_twin: I figured its a mutual respect thing..if I don't like to be bothered why should I bother someone else.
kingcobra: my ex was like that about sports also especially football, he is a huge Chicago Bears fan so I knew that during their games not to call him unless they scored. But I respected his Sunday's... the same way he respected my Wednesday's for my 2 favorite shows.
zayda: if its a close friend or even a family member who is in trouble or needs some one to listen to them. I will stop watching my favorite shows there is always TiVO.
