I started working on the graveyard shift this week...I really like it. I started thinking
about it last night while I was at work and realized that I have a nine to five job, it's
just an opposite version...LOL. I work from 9:30 at night to 6:15 in the morning. I
think its the best shift possible.
I don't have to be around the gas fumes that much because the night doesn't get
pounded with cars every hour. So that gives me a chance to do more than just
pump gas, I get to clean the store and do a lot more of everything else.
And I talk to a lot of people with wierd stories. Sunday night I talked to this lady
while I was pumping gas. I was just trying to be friendly and try to make
conversation. I asked her how her night was, she told me I didn't want to know. I
understand, long night? Then she just out of no where tells me that she just
caught her husband cheating on her.....with another man.
I guess I really didn't want to know. I didn't know what to say. She said that she
was getting out of this town. I told her that she was off to better things. She
agreed to that.
But all in all graveyard is a cool shift. I have no real complaints about it. I work
with some cool guys and the customers are really cool. They arn't really
grouchy like some customers that come in the store in the day.
I'm really going to enjoy my backwards schedule....LOL
