Who's reading 2foldONE (7):

Trismegistos: Reality is not upon earth, my son, and it cannot be thereon.... Nothing on earth is real, there are only appearances.... He (man) is not real, my son, as man. The real consists solely in itself and remains what it is... Man is transient, therefore he is not real, he is but appearance, and appearance is the supreme illusion.

Tatios: Then the celestial bodies themselves are not real, my father, since they also vary?

Trismegistos: That which is subject to birth and to change is not real ... There is in them a certain falsity, seeing that they too are variable.

Tatios: And what then is the primordial Reality?

Trismegistos: That which is one and alone, O Tatios; That which is not made of matter, nor in any body. Which has neither colour nor form, which changes not nor is transmitted but which always is.

Hermes Trismegistos and his son, Tatios

The Virgin of the World, a Book of Hermes

Part VII

From the beginning to the end of the written Ritual [The Book of The Dead/Life] we shall find it based upon the mythical representation which was primary.  The mythical representation was first applied to the phenomena of external nature and the mode of representation was continued and re-applied to the human soul…” (Massey; Book 4, pgs 188-189)

And so, we have encountered a second station in the sequence to the combination of our vault; the most secret and sacred one.  Every type, such as the ankh, every god, being no more than a personification of a natural element was considered to be both synonymous with but more specifically in wo/man.  This conclusion was systematically developed over the millennia and grant us a silent whisper to a secret of a grander plan for wo/mankind. In the beginning of the ancient Africans’ observation, zoology played an indispensable role in their description of nature powers.  Partly because beasts such as hawks and the hippopotamus for example, were considered to have super-human prowess and possessed an uncanny accord with nature.  Therefore they were included into daily expression and illustration.  But over time, Africans reasoned that wo/man was a more sufficient representation of the Hidden Causeless Cause (or NTR) and ultimately considered the human body to be its temple.  The Sphinx is an example of this reasoning and holds many more meanings to be unlocked by personal interpretation.

“The mythology remained extant in Egypt, so that the beginnings of the theology could be known and tested and were known to the mystery teachers and the origins referred to for the purpose of verification.”  This spiritual aspect was jealously safeguarded by the priest but is now captured so plainly in the ancient axiom, “as above, so below”. (Kybalion; by the Three Initiates) "What is below is like that which is above, and what is above is similar to that which is below, to accomplish the wonders of one only thing," -- which is MAN.” (Egyptian Immortality)  Correspondence is but one of seven ancient principles ascribed to the god=personification of wisdom, Thoth/Hermes.  From planets that orbit our sun, to protons that orbit its nucleus.  From water swirling in a whirlpool, to our vast galaxy, the existence of correspondence, in its myriad forms, may be recorded by way of our eyes yet can remain undetectable, hidden or a mystery.  You see, it is the function of the heart, not of the intellect.  One is a processing engine, used to cross reference physical data and information.  The heart, however, deals in abstract qualities and realities separate from the physical.  Hence, the human development of mythology, stories, imagination etc. They mark the development of our capacity to obtain the great WHY, which is not physical but is only reasoned and obtained by the heart.  It is heart that is able to link a tangible relationship with nature, man and especially the afterlife as being inseparable!  And it is through our heart that the Causeless Cause manifests its plan. Those abstract ideas in us explain our corporeal reality.  And the Causeless Cause is expressed by each and every one of us. I, myself personally imagine that this will be so until all the possible variables and possibilities will be fleshed out by us over nearly innumerable epochs.  But that’s another entry….

So then, it is this wisdom that remains hidden from the prudent and those who consider themselves wise in their own eyes.  It stronger than technical might of insatiable wo/men.  It never finds its way into their heart and it never leads their reasoning.  Rather, it evaded their hard hearts.  The invisible, immortal essence animating every creature, every person, every movement of the wind and water, in all its infinite wisdom chose to express its divine nature and plan of our salvation/growth in everyday phenomena (Rom 1:20) as mundane or trivial as it (1 Cor 1:27) might seem.

Let me ask you a good question. What is a “great cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12) if they are not always readily present to offer testimony?  Nevertheless, this wisdom is an eternal testimony given daily to us by nature, via the heart.  We have only to open it and listen.  The “Word” will then speak to us in regards to the secrets of life and guidance of everyday affairs.

In this manner, Egyptians were persuaded of the sun being a representation of our internal/eternal potential.  As we are born daily from darkness=Geb=our mother’s womb, from between her khepesh=thighs; just like a seed, we must first shed the protective shell of the embryonic sac.  The sun comes forth from the lack of light in Geb=the earth, child like, becoming virile at its peak, giving life.  It finally loses its potency=ability to reproduce life and is buried in Geb.  Do we stray at all from this example?  So now I will ask you yet another question.  Answer it according to this humble wisdom and you will have solved one of the most nagging mysteries of our age.  When a seed=man is planted in Geb, when a bird is hatched, or even when women conceive, what should come forth in newness of life: the shell or that life which the shell housed?

The work for eternity, our destiny was completed since before the universe began.  To shed this earthly tabernacle is to finally know the Absolute.  This was the reasoning of Kemetu/Egyptians personifying this spiritual work as being made possible in the form of Horus, from the beginning.  From here, according to our deeds we will either return again or be worthy of unifying with Horus and be glorified.  Paul’s words in 1st Corinthians 1:29 “that no flesh should glory in His presence” echoes this divine design.  But while holding this archetypal blueprint, we come across a hitch in Christianity’s design and notice that because of faulty construction, a gaping crack has developed.  In the pillar of “Redeemer of man”, Christ himself is raised bodily and received up into glory in the flesh!  And it is here that you both dim your own reasoning and continue to believe it literally or go deeper into it from a view of metaphor.  From the metaphorical standpoint you then can drink from the hidden realities in all literature. Scripture is merely the glass holding the water.  Not the water.  And those levels vary from say, a soft drink which actually dehydrates you, to pure spring water, to the true water which quenches your thirst forever.  This is why a person can spend their whole life in church and still have need of a more pure inner path and interpretation.  They have yet to drink from within of the unquenchable source given to wo/man from the start.  The “Word” from the first was SPIRIT and shall remain so.  By believing it to be flesh causes you to search outside of yourself for the answers!  It places you at the will of the glass while never drinking from it. Perfect provision placed son/daughter ship; that “Word” (Logos) in us for all time from the first.  It is both our consciousness and conscience. The “Word” is that spiritual cause which causes us to reason, think, feel etc.  You must exercise them and grow in them, then you will have fulfilled the spirit of the word which is a “law written in your heart”.  Jesus can’t do this for you; he is but an example. Literal or metaphor, it still is a function exclusive to YOUR heart.

Tell me; what good is an immutable promise of immortality, given by an “all powerful God”, if it could have been snatched away so easily by one fleshly man?

Rather, we will all grow into it. “Evil” or darkness=ignorance will be weeded out of us.

Reflect on this mystery; the individual stages of your life; from child to teenager so forth and so on are a testimony with you toward the destiny of humanity!  Children who are helplessly foolish one day eventually become wise in another.  The pains of growth shape you, mold you, define you.  One day wo/mankind will put away its childish and selfish conduct.  We will grow into the realm where our 7th soul, our Ka, called Atuma will channel our conduct. Not by works but by divine grace/provision.  This way no wo/man will be able to boast. Just as our five senses rule our perception, our higher senses will return in time as well on an even greater scale.  The most precious gems and diamonds have become so only through countless millennia of extreme heat, pressure and travail.

Currently our divine awareness exists as in winter; our true potential is Karas, partly by this dreamy fable.  That is, our need for organized religions. More dishonest folks are drawn to it because it is such an easy way to take advantage of people.  We are like lambs because of it, are we not?   I say that it has cut asunder our divinely imparted reason and ability to separate fact from fiction.  It exists, however for a divine reason.  A hurdle to be overcome or rather, a trait to be outgrown.

And it was no other original revelation in man, no other structure that was altered.  While hiding those natural features, they defaced it by transporting the integral ones, morphing it into a more hideous and threatening portrait of divine revelation.  Boasting of eternal torture through unbelief, while scourging countless victims into un willful belief of it in the process.(Christian Crusades)  Leaving those with rope still in hand and scaffolds strung about with the tall but lucrative task of providing shelter in the form of services, offerings and tithes from the terror invoked by the new, unnatural image!

And so at last, we have come to the most crucial station of the combination: your heart.  Have I brow beat you, telling you to believe, but don’t question?  Have I told you to throw your reasoning out the window for something you have not adequately researched?  Rather, with statements offering references that you may familiarize yourself with.  Begin (if you haven’t already started) to dispel your own darkness=ignorance by taking control you were meant to exercise.  Enhance your soul in reason and truths that you don’t here every Sunday.  This paradigm given to Kemet stands as the dawn of human spirituality.  As sure as the sun sets, darkness reigns yet the sun dawns once more so that it is all the more glorious.

By the way, very interesting series you got goin.
This one is the best one yet; very original.
Now, on to the cons...(you said be honest)
The biggest one I have is that there are very few people open minded enough to listen to someone "dredging up old thought patterns" because we are so absorbed into today's.  Some people are actually having a hard time today let alone comprehending what you are trying to convey.  I think that your attempts to go into the past are to understand the present and to prepare for the future.
I personally think you should consider the contributions of the Greeks and Asia around 200 to 300 years B. C.  They said things which are echoed today.  All the why's, how's and who's were asked centuries before we stumbled upon them.

Like I have said in my post, I have read alot of literature on old world religions; there just seems to be no other faith or teaching that is more relevant than Christianity. And as such you should know of the ramifications of not believing in truth that was form the beginning. If you were a preacher then you already know the outcome. What you have done is you have gone and got your mind filled with all of that knowledge of ancient theology(which is highly debatable stuff) and have forgotten the simplicity of the faith you left behind. For whatever reason that was. Much of your theology can not really be proven. You should read the Bible more; then it will all become more clear over time.

    To O'Pbulus:

Thanks; I write in the hopes that more bloggers will become more educated of arguably the most influential culture of the recorded past.  It has become a lonely road of late compiling this info.  Actually, I debated for awhile if I was going to post this fourth entry.  There are a lot of personal revelations which I reached by both meditation and a ton of research.  So frankly, this is personal in a sense.  And even though I’m not a traditional bible believer anymore, I still see the wisdom of certain scriptures, such as soulcasting pearls to swine.  I would prefer open minded comments but I have received some rather subliminally racist comments.

Maybe there is an underground, publicly unspoken movement against Africans/Americans…

But for the sake of these comments, I will stick to the subject at hand.  As far as the contributions of Greeks and Asians, Kemet (the original name for which the Greeks would change to Egypt) predates both by several millennia.  The concept of constellations, equinoxes, even expression by means of scribble on walls originated in Africa.  Historically, that is.  As far as the socially accepted view in America, the caveman was the first.  But even magazines such as National Geographic chart the development of modern wo/man stemming from Africa.  “Lucy”, the bones of an African was carbon dated to be over 3,000,000 years old.  The bones show a structure and posture of modern wo/man.  The Caucasian is a rather new race of wo/man and is actually the minority world wide.  You can get all the races of the world from the blackest human, not from the lightest.  And it was the blackest (Herodotus) wo/man who was the parent of the world’s beliefs and customs.

These are the facts.  And I have learned them based upon an inner thirst to quench questions which I would normally not be able to sedate by the doctrines and reasoning of our culture.

    To Samuael:

Being the seeker of truth that I’m quite sure you are, please tell me: what would make you renounce the foundations laid in the beginning and honor the rubbish?  What would make you esteem the afterbirth and throw away the baby?  What would make you throw away the ears of corn and store up the stalks?

Unbeknownst to every modern Christian, that is what has happened.  In my own opinion that is.  Being a former Christian, I can speak from personal experience on many of the set backs of being a believer of a faith based upon pure faith rather than reason and facts and in that precise order. Reason and ambition are the cause of many a nation and faith.  Were it not for those elements you would not even be aware of your faith.  As in the case of the Bible, we are told things and because of ignorance, we believe them.  It has gotten to be that simple to me.

As far as the theology…  You are 100% right.  But let me add this.  Esoteric interpretation is personally based on facts which belong to the world of the senses.  The number of people that exist will be the number of interpretations of any given scripture, law, doctrine or what have you. But it is both the plausibility of that interpretation and then intent of the interpretation which is the most important to apprehend.  Without those two, you only believe in a fable by means of being naïve, more so than being faithful.  This I know by personal experience.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people can let knowledge expand their perspective so wide and far that it takes them away from the truth.  People will one day choose the truth either by will or by divine force.  You can not out think God.  You can not out intellectualize Him.  His plan is stated plainly in the form of the Bible and not to brow beat you, but you have walked away from the light that shines bright into darkness.  Why?

The Anti-Christ has always been humanitites denial of it's own birthright.  If one is not God one is anti-God.  If one has not the Christ potential one is anti-Christ.  The war is the war of self as it struggles to overcome the teachings of mankind and it's religions and return to it's god self where within it the power resides to create a grander life through the knowledge of that which it is God.  There is no separation between God or any of it's creations because God is it's creations. If God was not in you,  you would not be.The Divine Intelligence,  that is God, is part and partial,  in all of creation as the God-Fire that empowers it.  It's journey is to find it's true self and that is where the war is.

After reading your series, it’s hard to believe that you are really as open minded as you say you are.  Your focus on Egypt or Kemet as you call it seems to have consumed your entire scope of the world.  Are you apart of a study group?  Or an organization trying to re-introduce an old thought system into a modern atmosphere?    Because to tell you the truth, people are plugged into the now and that’s the way it was and will be.  People are concerned about excelling in this life not one that existed over thousands of years ago.  I will admit what you are is quite unique and I hope to stay posted to see what else you will say.

Samuel:  There is no "choosing" if the alternative is forcing one to do anothers will.  That is pure Jehovahism. When intimidation,  pain or punishment is used in any way one it  is about as far away from love as one can get.  It is the teaching of Jehovah that creates the wars because it is based on judgement.  Jesus taught the opposite;  to not judge.  If we followed Jesus we woould end the wars and just solve our problems with logic and reason without religions clammoring for the destruction of both the people and the planet as a sacrafice for not "worshipping"Jehovah.

Hi guys! It seems like there is an interesting interaction going on right here.  I have surfed a lot on the site and I always seemed drawn to this type of dialogue when I’m either on line or listening to the radio or whatever.  Unfortunate you mainly have to go on line in order to indulge in conversation this in-depth.  I myself happen to believe some of what you have already mentioned 2foldONE, such as us needing to go to the beginning in order to understand the present.  I have found that people believe in a vast gamut of ideals, all sufficient to sustain them throughout their lifetime but rarely does one adopt one after cold hard research.  I commend you.  You are one in a million.

But the thing is whether or not Jesus existed or not, his teachings should be our primary focus.  I mean, we focus on the Dream of Martin Luther King, not the man.  When we highlight the message we then transcend argument and those flaws of history fall to the side.  As a former man of the cloth, you should know then that godly conversation does not gender strife or vain babblings.  Genealogies are the cause of many a debate and this path treads close to the one your currently on when you decide to tread there.  Maybe you should stick with the cold hard research and fact presentation…
  • shiningstar said on May 24, 2007....
I suspect that the "cold hard research  and fact presentation"  means what you have been taught to believe not what anyother has received as learning. Am I correct? I too,  believe that the focus should be on what the teacher is teaching.  In any other class in the world,  except religion,  no student falls on the floor and worships the teacher and hopes that they will save them from the big, bad math test.

    O'Pbulus

As always, thanks for the constructive criticism.  If you read the sources I have read then you more than likely come to the conclusion that the whole entire scope of the world is consumed with Kemet!  The description of a virgin mother, a father avenged by his offspring and the conquering son can be seen on papyrus rolls and walls dated some ten thousand years back.  The esoteric implications are off the charts once you sit down and run it through your mind.  For example: Since it was modeled after nature, life imitates art.  And as insecure as some might be about my research they know that the enslavement of Africans is parallel to the story of Osiris and Sut.  Sut is Osiris’ brother for crying out loud!  We have been cut off from our culture, original way of life and most importantly expression, cast into a world of stereotypes perpetuated by our own entertainment industry.  This is our own doing.  We become watered down when we try to assimilate with this melting culture IF we don’t know where we came from.   Teen pregnancy, the AIDS epidemic, incarceration; all these plague our community.  It would seem that we are krst in a dark box of ignorance cast into pieces.  Only the youth/the son can truly save us from this self pitying, passive, alter ego of our former self.  There’s even prejudice of native Africans against African Americans believe it or not.  They say that we are mutts now from being bred in with Europeans and because we can not speak our former language that we are lost.  I heard this with my own ears!  So my goal is to raise awareness, plain and simple.  No, I’m not apart of any organization or group.  People ask me ALL the time... ”so what made you start studying Egypt?”  And I can only say ‘I really don’t know I’m drawn to it.’ I over hear a lot of European Americans talk of their roots and history.  They know that their great, great, great grandfather was Irish or French or whatever.  Hell, where I grew up, you were fortunate to know your father was let alone a great one.  I bet you can trace your family, your history and end at your origin.  I simply want to know.  But this connection has shown me what I am truly capable of and that it is stronger than any religion.

    shiningstar

I feel you.  When you see what you feel like is a pivotal factor responsible for people’s mindset you try to make people aware.  I would have to agree with you on this subject.  That Jehovah was unmerciful and honored men who were likewise.  Not many people catch on to that.  A friend told me just yesterday, that in or you have a certain degree of knowledge in order to even ask a certain question.  Keep searching for truth and don’t pass up the opportunity to share it with me!

    Hosharu

Here’s the thing: One of my biggest observations is that people, especially preachers and evangelist are not such easy going philosophers.  They bark, they shout, they stand on street corners, bible in hand telling you one thing: you must believe on Christ.  You must believe that he was born, lived and died but that he rose again.  All physical, not really spiritual.  THEN they indoctrinate you with the spiritual aspect.  That’s my reason for addressing the issue.  We are being bombarded to the point where are only awareness of the spiritual comes mainly when we discuss it in an open forum such as this.  Home is the best and first place it should start. And it should be honest and open.  Otherwise, we would just be passive.  But most importantly, it has seeped so deep down into the psyche of the average individual, we assume we know the spiritual because phase because we have been exposed to it so much!  So that the physical is hinged with the spiritual teachings.  Now they are inseparable.  But Christ said that he would not bring peace/non conflict of the two but that he would bring a sword/division of the two.  And it is here where I don the full armor and yield that same sword of truth.

  • 2foldONE said on May 24, 2007....

Actually shiningstar, I think what Hosharu means is my own research and fact presentation.  I should address this issue as well to show that I am not the first, nor will I be the last to acknowledge this feud.  Ironically, Paul had an ongoing feud with certain apostles on the nature of the Christ as well.  In Gerald Massey’s Paul the Gnostic Opponent of Peter, Massey makes and methodically explores an interesting argument.  Elaine Pagels also wrote a book called The Gnostic Paul: Gnostic Exegesis of the Pauline Letters and takes a different spin on Paul’s doctrine.  Both are good and very informative and will bridge gaps unfathomed by the mainstream Christian. Massey however, purports that Paul was not a historic apostle for the hylic/physical Christ but that Paul’s Christ was a spiritual/pneumatic one! Pagels maintains that Paul's letters are more so in code of Gnostic language.  For example, because of this religious feud Paul had to state such things like we are baptized into Christ's death which was like saying Christ seperation from his equalibruim with the Absolute.  Because it was a well kept Kemetic secrete that Horus/Jesus was infact each and every wo/man, creature fleshed out in the flesh! Therfore the eighth soul thought it not robery to be equall with the Absoulute but took on the form of flesh. As dying, aging and decaying matter.  But not as one historic personage that took on matter once and for all for all time. Deep isn't it.  In any case Paul’s Christ was never physical and that those that went around preaching that Christ was were the very ones sowing tares after him!  It is also so very interesting to note that Paul said that one of the falsifiers preying on the ignorant was the son of perdition and that this man of sin would not be revealed until Paul himself was removed out of the way.  The Popes of Catholicism ironically bears their names and teach a physical Christ…

In the Gnostic reckoning, there were three phases: hylic, psychic and pneumatic.  Paul’s Christ was at the height of the spirit realm, the eighth sphere of The Pleroma.  There are many contra/dictions in the bible but one of major importance in its comprehension is I Timothy 6:14 thru 16.  16 says:Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”  Whom no man hath seen means just what is says but to average bible reader they will make a critical error in judgment: after making everything be literal, in order to preserve the integrity of the conflicting faith, they will then make that particular scripture non literal.  But you must study to show yourself approved, rightfully dividing the word of truth with that same sword of divisions between truth and falsity.

excuse me people but there must be two shiningstars posting here on this subject.  The last "shiningstar" post is not from this "shiningstar".  What is going on here? Sorry,  but just wanted you to know.  I enjoyed the subject and the information.  Keep posting.

No, no that was me.  When I reply, I (I was saying 'I feel you'; if you put your mouse finger on that section your identity tag doesn't come up) fix it where people can just click on your name in my reply and go straight to you.  But I bet you still felt the same though huh!

I’ve been aware of your comment for some time, been busy.  The thing is shinningstar, man will not do this; God will be the cause of it.  When Jesus returns and re-establishes his kingdom, he will be the giving the orders by the will and authority of God.  Wars will cease.  Peace will become the standard.  Why would you be afraid of that unless your heart was not right.
  • Hosharu said on May 29, 2007....

Yes to 2foldONE, you’re correct.  But we are talking about the one’s that are not preaching and barking.  To hell with them for right now and let not the brimstone miss their scraggly tails!

Actually, I can only speak for myself.  I have friends who, it would seem that they are torn on this issue.  We talk frequently and I always get the impression that they only believe in Jesus simply because they were indoctrinated.  But they are such free thinking fellows that they are able to talk about a wide variety of issues and subjects.   They constantly pose the return of Christ as not any physical personage but a wide spread awareness within man yet make statements such as "when Jesus was here" or "Jesus says".  It can be looked at from different perspectives and all still be right.  But which one is right or factual? That's the great mystery!

  • shiningstar said on May 29, 2007....
For me,  I believe in Jesus.  I believe in Jehovah.  They are not the same.Jehovah was the "old"  that Jesus came to free people from.  Jesus said he came to set the people free.  The only thing they needed to be free from was the terrible,  brutal teachings and ways of Jehovah.  Jesus did not come to save anyone nor will he return to do so.  He tried to make people think for themselves hence the parables.  His truth is mixed with Johovah speech in the first four books of the New Testament in order to confuse people and allow the religions to take the lead and try and tell the people their truth which enslaves people. I do not think that any student learns from their teacher by falling on their knees and worshipping them.  What woould be the purpose? We are expected to have the passion,  the curosity,  the desire to want to know how to do the things that Jesus did and seek the knowledge to do so.  Following someone else's path is easy.  It is being the leader that is hard.Jesus wanted leaders and they are sorely needed in this world. Thats all I got.
