After my appaling play losing in excess of $10 (1/4 of my BR) i wanted to play again, i felt very unsatisfied in the way i had played. Again, playing low stakes cash games (5c/10c). I started buying in for $2 and again losing, still not playing to the best of my ability. In all, the second session, i had bought in for a total of $18, if i lost my bank roll was $16. I was determined to win back the money i had lost. After 3 hard hours of poker, i had rebuilt my BR back to $34 and decided to quit.

 

It was the last hand of the last round. My stack was around $9. I was under the gun, and got dealt AQ off, i raised to pot. Button called and BB called, Flop came: AK10 (Not sure of suits-rainbow board here though). BB checked and i bet 70c into $1.10 pot. Button minimum raises to $1.40, BB folds and i call. Turn comes a 2, i check and button bets $2.50, i think im behind yet i didnt want to fold, a gut feeling felt like i was going to win that pot so i called. River come a Jack, i made my straight with no flush available, i have the nuts. knowing button will bet, i check. Button bets all in for $3.90, a quick call and i take down a $18 or so pot =). He had top 2 pair (AK). sick, but thats poker.

 

feeling more satisfied i left it there.
