Just a small update on how things are going.
I had more blood work done today to check my white counts and wonderful news: they went from 0.5 to 35.5 in just the past week with these shots so the pain and everything I endured because of the shots were totally worth it. My hemaglobin counts were higher today too, so it was a day of good news for me on the blood work.
I don't have to go back in until Tuesday for my appointment with my doctor and my second treatments. I was looking in the mirror today and noticed that I cannot see the tumor in my chest anymore. So that's a wonderful sign. It's still there, but it's not as big and noticeable anymore.
