Are you a Tori Amos fan? I think nobody is making any serious money on this. Someone made only 87 cents and I have no idea what I have made and don't expect much anyway. Blogging is mostly about sharing ideas and having fun writing. If you want to make money from writing then there are newspapers, magazines and other publications that pay better, I think. Just enjoy this exchange of thought with people you would never meet otherwise.

If you have signed up for AdSense, you can check your earnings by going to the AdSense signon screen at ... https://www.google.com/adsense/ fill in your email address and password and click the Sign In button. Your totals should be displayed under Reports. Also, click the SoulCast Help area at the top of any SoulCast screen and check out the topics under Getting Paid To Blog. I have only made 87 cents in the last several days and have come to the same conclusion as hotaka: this is mostly just for fun. I am still looking for ways to improve my clicks, but the Help seems to indicate that anything one does to improve the clicks is wrong. I think I made the 87 cents because I clicked on some ads on my blog page, which I was truly interested in. So it looks like SoulCast is about the only one(s) who could possibly make anything from this. And I absolutely have no problem with that. Thanks SoulCast for setting up this fun, even if not profitable, web site. Write on.

I started a few months ago and my websites seem to bring in traffic and clicks on ads. I'm just getting started on adding it to blogs and hope to keep it coming.

If you are serious enough to make internet blogging a rewarding profession, the way to do it is to spread all of your blogs to as many AdSense related blog sites as possible. The more blog sites you maintain increases your potentials of getting more AdSense clicks. Another such similar AdSense blogger friendly site is ||{1}||

Sorry it took me a long time to get back to your question. I think the album Under the Pink is genius and it's on my list of top 50 albums of all time. Some women I have met have recommended others, especially Boys for Pele, but I have not been in the mood to sample any other albums of hers since. About eight years ago I had a big interest in female singers. I have since moved on though I still love most of the albums I bought at the time and Tori stands out as a true original for me. What do you recommend if I pick up another Amos album?
  • cornflakegirl said on Jul 29, 2006....
Little Earthquakes. It was released before Under the Pink and I think it is such a solid piece of work. You've probably heard many of the songs from this album without even realizing it (Silent all these Years, Crucify, Winter, Me and a Gun), and they're all stunning. I love Under the Pink as well, but I think LE is my all-time favorite. the songs are heartfelt, the lyrics are beautiful. Let me know what you think, hotaka! :)

It seems Amazon and my bank account are going to be having a little chat. I have just been looking into other albums I want to get and JavaMama has recommended a few more bands. I will look into either Little Earthquakes or Boys for Pele. It will be a tough choice. Sometimes the older stuff sounds better. Sometimes it takes a couple of albums for the artist to get in gear. We shall see what I end up buying. :)
