  Just listened. I feel a little sad because I can't sing, and I'm not as pretty (and never was) but I had long brown hair and the same face shape when I was younger.  I guess I am saying that is not me, but I wish it could have been!  Loved this version, too.  Thanks for putting it here to see!  I will go look for her CD soon, also!

  i agree that the acoustic version really does showcase the quality of her voice better--but then again, acoustic versions invariably have that effect, i find.
  
  melancholy, pensive, wistful and a bit of resignation...those are the emotions that i'm taking from this. i know the chorus says otherwise but honestly, i have a sense that she's trying to convince herself.

  I just got her CD in the mail. I will have to listen to it a few more times before giving an opinion. Unfortunately I accidentally ordered 2 of them. I don't need 2, so if anybody wants a free CD let me know. Really, because I don't want it to go to waste. (It was free in the first place for me because I had so many bonus points racked up at BMG.)
