A few years ago, after I watched a Sci-Fi and went to bed I had a strange dream.
And now I am wondering if that was a dream from my imagination or just some
other movie I watched. I can't tell the difference...
On the Sci-Fi channel was this spider movie about todays Chicago and a couple
of building inspector guys were down in a basement of this old building and they
came across a portal that led them into a different Chicago. Their Chicago was
the real one, todays Chicago. This new Chicago didn't have too many people,
and it had "Spider People." The Spider people were people bitten by alien-type
spiders, so they were like a vampire: bitten by a spider and turned into one. They
still looked almost human, just with fangs and a few other differences. Anyway,
the guys go to this new world and find other people there trying to kill these
spiders. And they also stumble apon the scientist who invented the portal. Long
story short, they get back into the portal and save the other people who were in
the other Chicago.
My dream was something different, but I still want to know if it is from some other
movie.
My dream was about giant "Godzilla" like spiders that fell to earth from a meteor
that the scientists and astronauts came togerther and built a machine to destroy.
They had to destroy the meteor because it was headed for earth. So once they
destroyed the meteor spiders fell off of it. They wern't killed from the impact and
they fell onto earth, right into the heart of New York. They started rampaging the
city and killing people for food. There was at least 3 of them. The scientists got
the machine running and killed 2 of the spiders but they couldn't kill the last one.
It had eaten the other spiders and became too powerful for the machine to kill it.
Then my dream gets a little fuzzy and I don't remember how they killed the last
spider and I woke up shortly after that.
So does anyone reconize this as a movie, if so...what movie? I would really like
to watch it and see what happens. I would also like to watch the other movie
again, but I can't remember what the name of it was.
Thats another strange part of my strange world...stay tuned for another
instalment...LOL
