We've decided to start simultaneous games of Madden 2007 and NCAA Football 2007 on the PS2.

We started out with a fantasy draft in the NFL. We started out as the Cleveland Browns. Our plan is to draft for the Browns, but we will sim through five seasons in both Madden and NCAA since we do not have a means of getting player rosters for NCAA. We'll be using default rosters for both games. After the five years, we will take over the worst team in each conference and try to revive the franchise.

Fantasy Draft
Round 1
Our Browns wound up with the #2 overall pick in the draft. We decided to go offense, so we took QB Carson Palmer. Peyton Manning was #1 and went to Baltimore. Three of the top five picks were in the top five, with the fourth team picking 8th, so that could be a tough division. HB Curtis Martin surprisingly went in the first round in a run of HBs. The only positions picked in this round were HBs and QBs.

Round 2
This round saw a run on d-linemen. We decided to go for a defensive enforcer and picked MLB Brian Urlacher to anchor our D.

Round 3
We decided to keep on defense with shutdown corner Champ Bailey. Round 3 saw a bit more variation in positions taken, with a number of WR, CB and even OT going off the board.

Round 4
Staying on the D, we wanted to get started on our line and picked DT Albert Haynesworth.

Round 5
We wanted a target for Carson, so we grabbed WR Andre Johnson, the best WR on the board. The rest of the league went for defense, sparking a run on LBs and safeties.

Round 6
Staying on offense, we grabbed OT Kareem McKenzie to watch Palmer's back.

Round 7
We added some help at LB with Derrick Johnson, the kid out of Texas.

Round 8
Adding a second shutdown corner, we grabbed young Chris Gamble.

Round 9
With HB going off the board again, we decided we had to grab our boy, Reggie Bush. Unfortunately, we got left behind in the TE run at the top of the round.

Round 10
We thought it would be too funny to pass up on having Mario Williams on the same team as Bush, so we grabbed Super Mario with this pick.

Round 11
Filling in our line, we decided on OT Jammal Brown over George Foster since we already had a road grater at tackle.

Round 12
Despite the price tag, we had to take Vernon Davis at TE. If anything, we can play him at #2 WR. We missed out on the run on C at the start of the round.

Round 13
Going back to the D-line, we grabbed Erasmus James to play opposite Super Mario.

Round 14
With our cap getting a tad low, we went for a cheap C in Chris Spencer.

Round 15
It was decision time for our defense. We needed to decide if we wanted to go 4-3 or 3-4. Our best option was DT Mike Patterson, so it looks like we'll be going 4-3.

Round 16
With some shutdown corners, we were looking for a run stopper at safety. We feel SS Donte Whitner fit the bill, though we cringed a bit at his $3+ million salary.

Round 17
When we saw Neil Rackers off the board to start the round, we figured that was a sign we should grab our guy. We decided on David "Green" Akers over future HoFer Vinatieri. That round ended up seeing a run on kickers and fullbacks.

Round 18
Punters flew off the board this round, so much so that we decided not to bother with one at this point. We instead decided on T.J. Duckett to spell Bush and give us a short-yardage back. He may also see time at FB on occassion.

Round 19
We added another piece to our O-line with G Claude Terrell.

Round 20
We picked up WR Ernest Wilford to be our possession receiver opposite Andre Johnson. The pricetag couldn't be beat.

Round 21
Finishing up our O-line, we grabbed G Justin Smiley. We decided to take the upside guy over the better blocker, David Deihl. Deihl went later in the round.

Round 22
We picked up FB J.D. Runnels to clear running lanes for Reggie.

Round 23
After looking at some OLBs a few rounds back, we finally got around to nabbing our second one, taking E.J. Henderson to be our run-stopper.

Round 24
Finishing up our starting D, we added Jason Allen at FS.

Round 25
We finally picked our punter, Dustin Colquitt. The pickings were very slim.

Round 26
We grabbed OT Marcus Johnson to add some O-line depth. Vince Young led off the round, going to San Fran.

Round 27
We picked Andrew Walter to back up Palmer at QB.

Round 28
TE Mark Bruener will give us a great blocker at the TE position. He's our first pick over age 30.

Round 29
CB Kelly Jennings will be our nickleback.

Round 30
To our dismay, our OLB backup choice Manny Lawson has been swiped from under our noses. We decide to take Deuce Lutui at OG.

Round 31
After many rounds of watching him, we finally take Brandon Jones to be our slot receiver.

Round 32
SS Darnell Bing joins our roster of USC alumni. Tank Johnson ends up going to Cinci to wave his guns around with Pacman Jones. Looks like they'll lead the league in arrests again.

Round 33
MLB D'Qwell Jackson will back up Urlacher.

Round 34
DT Isaac Sopoaga will plug up the line in goalline formation.

Round 35
OLB Jon Alston joins us as a back up. He's a moron awareness-wise, but has great base stats.

Round 36
HB Maurice Jones-Drew (or Drew-Jones, according to Madden) joins us as our third back and as a possible kick returner.

Round 37
C Alex Stepanovich is another backup for our O-line.

Round 38
WR Travis Wilson will be our #4.

Round 39
After having him in mind for a good dozen rounds, we grab the best returner on the game, Devin Hester.

Round 40
QB Ken Dorsey will be our third stringer. Let's hope he doesn't see the field.

Round 41
DE Melvin Oliver was added for depth on the D-line.

Round 42
OT Andrew Whitworth will be a decent backup O-lineman. He may see a move to OG.

Round 43
CB Bhawoh Jue was the best option to round out our corners.

Round 44
OLB Eric Alexander finishes off our LB needs.

Round 45
DE James Wyche rounds out our D-line.

Round 46
OG Brian Rimpf was added as roster filler.

Round 47
WR Jerome Mathis will compete for the fourth WR spot.

Round 48
TE Brad Cieslak gives us another decent blocking tight end.

Round 49
MLB Leon Williams joins us as a project player.

Mr. Irrelevant: DT Joe Salave'a
